Lesson 1
The Gravity of Attachment
In this session we will learn about the core teaching of non-attachment that many meditation traditions have been born from, and reflect on what we find ourselves most attached to. Here, we are simply taking inventory, a pulse if you will, of where our energy and attention tends to go. Attachments can have their own center of gravity - almost like a pull. If we don't recognize that pull, then it becomes difficult to break free of an attachment's orbit, and our energy isn't free to create.

Lesson 2
Tools for Letting Go - Getting Grounded
In this session we will be exploring the concept of letting go - which involves being aware of a feeling, letting it come up, and staying with it. During meditation we will also learn a tool that grounds us and creates a channel of release. It's important to be able to see what we need to let go of and have a place to release it. Otherwise the energy of what we are working on may just recycle through our space but never fully flush out.

Lesson 3
Releasing the Energy of Control & Perfection
In this session as we step back into meditation we recognize places in ourselves where we try and control outcomes, and on some level need everything to be perfect -including ourselves. The need to control situations or feelings can sometimes be an unconscious reaction stress, anxiety, or excessive expectations. To find that deep calm and inner-peace, we approach our needs for perfection with self-compassion, and even a dose of humor.

Lesson 4
Laughing Out of Stuckness & Attachment
In this session we explore one of the main culprits of feeling stuck, seriousness - and learn to use amusement to release it with a new meditation tool. Of course it's important to take our challenges seriously so we can address them, but sometimes we can take them too seriously and get stuck in a lower vibration that can't see a way out. Let us allow Einstein to remind us that, "No problem can be solved from the same level of consciousness that created it". Let's begin today by moderating our seriousness, raise our joy, and expand our consciousness.

Lesson 5
Tools for Ruminating Thoughts
In this session we'll be exploring how to deal with the rumination of thought patterns. If you live in the modern world you almost definitely suffer from thoughts that loop - they pass through your consciousness over and over but don't lead anywhere. In this meditation we examine one of those patterns for ourselves, find the message hidden within them, and let go.

Lesson 6
Back to The Present
In this session we will begin explore what it means to be attached to the past and future, and how that dynamic can trap our energy in a mental state that doesn't serve our true goals of being present and happy. As we step into meditation today we reorient our energy by releasing an image from the past, and one from the future, so that we can ground into the present.

Lesson 7
Exploring a Major Attachment
In this session we revisit a few of the attachments that came up in our fist meditation, and approach them with the tools and awareness we've gained over the past 6 lessons. It's important in meditation to slow down and not try to tackle every energy at once. Allow yourself to be present, sit still for longer periods of time, and have patience as you create space in your consciousness from your attachments.

Lesson 8
The Return of Energy
In this session we will return to the major attachment we were working on in our last meditation, and learn a tool that will bring our energy back from the attachment, and learn how to give it space to shift. So often we become so invested in something unfolding a certain way that we almost hold it hostage with our energy from unfolding naturally. The question today is can we give this attachment space and call our energy back from it so it can breathe and shift.

Lesson 9
Seeing Your Next Step
In this session we return one last time to a major attachment and explore the tool of learning to 'see' our next step with it. As we deepen into meditation we awaken to the difference between over-analyzing something vs seeing our true next step with it. There is a natural state of fluidity in meditation that changes our attitude and opens up new possibilities in our consciousness.

Lesson 10
Everything is Ending & Beginning
To finish the course we review everything we have learned throughout the series. We awaken to the awareness that everything is constantly changing, ending, and beginning. Through the acceptance of that awareness we can begin to live deeper in the moment free from attachment, to love ourselves, to be present, awake, and have to allow experiences to arise and then subside. In letting go we start to learn how to truly live.
