Hello,
And welcome to The Daily Insight.
My name is David Gandelman,
And today we're going to be working on stepping into a confident morning.
So,
Grab a seat,
Close your eyes,
And let's go into meditation.
And we're going to do it today in three stages.
In stage one,
We're going to begin by just stepping into our bodies,
Into our sense perceptions,
Into this three-dimensional physical reality that we live in.
Stage two,
We're going to start to become aware of who we are,
Become aware of our energy.
In stage three,
We're going to make a confident decision and set an intention on the kind of action and direction that we want to take in our lives so that we can have an amazing day.
Go ahead and start by taking a nice big deep breath in and a relaxing sigh out.
And as you do that,
I'd like you to just start to become aware of your sense perceptions.
Notice the sounds in the room,
The temperature.
Begin to start to become aware of gravity.
And notice the biorhythms of your body,
Of your pulse and your heartbeat.
And really allow yourself to come into your body as you wake up and step into the day,
In a sense you're reincarnating from sleep back into this body.
So take ownership of it,
Be in it,
Be present.
And have gratitude for this physical incarnation.
In stage two of this meditation,
I invite you to start to become aware that you are aware.
Notice that witnessing presence,
That consciousness in you that experiences all your sense perceptions,
That energy that formulates into what you might call me or I.
Picture yourself into who you are.
You are awareness,
Having this human experience.
Really allow yourself to deepen into who you are,
Because if you don't know who you are,
It's difficult to know what you want and to create it.
In stage three,
Set an intention so you can take action today and really live life to its fullest.
So what is it that you want to create today?
What's the energy that you want to bring into the world?
Make a decision and with confidence own it.
If you want to bring more joy into the world,
Peace,
Playfulness,
Happiness,
Set that intention.
You're here for a reason.
Don't allow the outside world to set the agenda for you today.
Set it for yourself and live it deeply.
I'd like you to imagine that you open your palm,
You look down at your hand and a beautiful little flower just grows right up out of your hand and the leaves open,
The petals open.
And this flower,
It starts to emit this beautiful energy and scent.
It's almost like the scent of the intention that you're setting today.
And if that intention is joy,
Maybe you feel that,
You breathe it in through your nostrils and you feel it in your body.
If that intention is playfulness,
Maybe you lightly giggle and enjoy that.
If it's focus,
Allow yourself to be focused.
And if it's confidence,
Be confident.
No matter what intention you set today,
No matter what action you take,
You can be confident that you can show up and face life with your awareness,
With a deep sense of rooted inner peace that can't be shaken by outside circumstances,
People's judgments or events.
Allow your meditation to help you stay centered and present and really show up for life today.
With all the awareness,
Energy,
And just pure enthusiasm for living,
Set this intention,
Let this flower in your hand really open and let this energy radiate out into the world so others can sense it and feel it off of you,
So that you can make an impact.
We don't always get to choose what happens to us,
But we can choose with what kind of awareness and energy we want to show up with.
I invite you to show up today with confidence,
With intention,
With enthusiasm,
With playfulness,
And a deep sense of awareness that you are alive,
Here to create,
And here to be happy.
Take a nice big deep breath in,
Nice soft easy sigh out.
When you're ready,
You can stretch,
Open your eyes,
Come out of meditation,
And go live a full incredible life.
