Over the next 10 days, you will learn how to experience a greater sense of wholeness and live with your inner and outer world in greater congruence. You will be guided through a warming journey of bringing awareness to any incongruences that exist between what you DO - or would like to do - and the ways you would like to BE - or to feel. You will then explore the relationship between the two and be introduced to a way in which you can balance these two very important aspects of your life. Each day will include a short meditation, content to support and a quick invitation to consider.


Meet your Teacher

Al is an integrative psychotherapist, meditation guide, group facilitator, leadership trainer, writer, and storyteller; guided by his ongoing quest to restore a life-affirming culture. Combining his education in Mindfulness-Based Leadership, Integral Facilitation, The Way of Council, Regenerative Practice, and most recently, Integrative Psychotherapy, he creates spaces for individuals and groups to find resilience and agency amidst complexity. He was listed in the Top 30 Entrepreneurs Under 30 in Australia twice in a row and has since become a trusted guide to several for-purpose teams and leaders. In 2022, he was also awarded the National Award for Clinical and Academic Excellence for Integrative Psychotherapy at IKON Institute. As a queer man, Al’s love for integrating the diverse and transgressive is alive in all he touches. Whether he’s guiding through words or the spaces between them, Al’s deep appreciation for both ancient and emergent ways of knowing shines through in all his ways.

Conditioning: Strengthening our ability to feel

Today we focus on strengthening your ability to feel, to recognize and relate to your feelings. Before we dive into working with your feelings and this inner-realm of yourself, let’s get familiar with what it means to be aware and embodied in your feelings and sensations.

Our map: A framework to achieve balance

Today we will start to apply this re-balancing to your dreams, goals and visions. We start to understand what the feelings and desires are beneath your goals, how these influence you and how to work with them.

A release: Focussing on the virtue not the objective

We explore what it feels like to have become very aware of the feelings and desires beneath your goals and visions. We play with the feeling of detachment and recognizing that this feeling doesn’t have to depend on any external outcome.

Embed: Tools for everyday re-balancing

It is great to understand the feelings and desires beneath your longer-term goals and visions, but how do you bring this into this moment? Today we explore ways to checkin with your current feeling-state and start to invite in your desired feelings.

Wholeness: When to re-balance and when to allow

Today we cover a very important topic, when should you allow a feeling to exist and when is it ok to consciously re-direct? We explore the topic of wholeness, acceptance and bring perspective to these questions.

Lesson 8

The challenge: Choosing one virtue to train

Today we set ourselves a challenge to start small, with just one virtue we are going to strengthen and begin to live through. We feel our way to what this virtue might be, understand when we might need to re-balance this the most and find where in the body we can access it easiest.

Deepening your ability: We practice all that we have learnt

Today is a day to try it all on. Through a guided practice you practice all that we have covered and deepen your ability to become aware of both doing and being simultaneously, course correcting and balancing as you need.

This week we recap what we have covered in this journey so far, any major lessons and reminders that we need to reinforce and discuss how we can best go about integrating this new approach into our daily lives.
