Welcome to this loving kindness meditation.
So please begin by finding a comfortable position for your body,
Allowing the eyes to gently close down and the breath to begin to slow and deepen.
Just focusing that breath toward the lower belly,
Allowing the entire body,
Belly,
Lungs,
Collarbones,
All expanding with the inhale and then exhale,
Allowing the release.
So to begin this meditation,
We are going to bring to mind someone we love and feel we have a positive relationship with.
It could be a family member or a friend or even someone that we admire from afar.
Bring this person to mind either visually or just the idea of them and begin to wish them well,
Wish them joy,
Wish them love,
Wish them health and everything that will truly make them feel fulfilled.
And if you can,
Really see this person happy,
See them feeling nourished by their life,
See them feeling good about themselves,
And begin to send them well wishes in whatever way feels natural for you.
And as you send them these wishes,
I invite you to just notice any sensation.
We're going to bring to mind another person who we love and we feel a connection with.
We're going to bring to mind another person,
And this person can be someone that you barely know or you know as an associate or perhaps a coworker.
So someone you have a sort of surface level relationship with.
Bring that person to mind and repeat this process by wishing them well.
Wishing them joy and love.
Wishing them health and ease.
Seeing them totally fulfilled and engaged in their life.
And really see them happy.
Feel what it is to truly will them to be happy.
To be happy.
Now bring yourself to mind,
Seated here in meditation,
And wish yourself joy.
Wish yourself true happiness.
See yourself completely fulfilled,
Feeling that you are in flow with life.
See yourself totally content.
Surround yourself with positive energy and all of the same positive momentum that you offered others.
Now bring your attention back to the breath.
Just notice the natural cadence of the breath.
And when you're ready,
Gently blink your eyes open.
Maybe wiggling your fingers and toes a little.
Looking around the room and take a moment to notice how you feel.
Notice any changes,
Light or dramatic,
In your mood and the way that you're thinking.
So thank you so much for practicing with me.
Wishing you all good things.
Wishing you well.
Wishing you love.
Wishing you total fulfillment.
