A warm welcome to you.

My name is Fleur Chambers and as always it's my pleasure to spend this time with you.

This meditation is an opportunity for you to come home to the unwavering sense of peace that lives within you.

May this practice be a welcome refuge in these uncertain times.

So please,

Settling in,

Closing down your eyes if you like and beginning with three deep and intentional breaths.

These breaths a gentle nod to your nervous system that it's safe to slow down.

To let down your guard,

To open into this moment and beginning by welcoming all the parts of you who have been present in your life lately.

Perhaps yourself who has felt overwhelmed,

Anxious or fearful.

Yourself who has felt tired,

Irritable or judgmental.

Maybe welcoming the parts of you who have felt hopeful and optimistic.

Here in this moment all these aspects of yourself are welcome.

There's no need to push any parts of you away.

Almost as if you were kneeling on a welcome mat opening to your entire experience.

Long slow inhale,

Pause at the top,

Long slow exhale.

Awareness naturally resting on the movement of your chest.

Its rhythmic rise and fall,

Lulling you deeper into this moment.

If your mind wanders that's okay.

Returning time and time again to the rhythm of your breath.

The soft expansion and contraction of your belly,

A gentle reminder of your body's intelligence.

The ease within which it receives each breath.

Noticing how the sides of your body,

The back of your body receive each breath.

Your breath so complex yet also so simple.

A metaphor for life.

As you focus on your breath your mind and body meet in this moment.

Greeting each other like old friends.

Body supremely intelligent.

Breathing all day every day on its own with effortless grace.

Each breath an invitation to come home.

To your wisdom,

To your strength.

You are the calm sea bed under an ocean full of waves.

Each breath allowing you to drop a little deeper.

Directing a few deep and intentional breaths into your heart now or into the space in the middle of your chest.

And as you breathe simply noticing what's here for you today.

Perhaps the feelings are strong.

Maybe they're subtle.

Welcoming whatever emerges for you.

It's so easy to move through our days lost in thought.

Focused on what needs to be done.

But here in this moment there's time to check in with your heart.

There's time to be curious about what's there for you.

Long smooth and gentle breaths.

Long smooth inhale into your heart.

Almost as if the fresh oxygen is allowing your heart to speak.

If your heart had words what would it say to you?

Noticing a sense of gentle freedom and possibility slowly building within you as you travel the path of your heart.

Resting here.

Being held.

Your heart illuminates the path to inner peace.

Here in this moment you know that peace is possible for you.

With each gentle breath with every tender beat of your heart you can feel the vibration of peace building within you.

Imagining this energy,

This sense of peace entering your body.

Swirling around making its way into all the corners of your body.

Reaching all the way to your fingers and toes.

This vibration of peace soothing your aches and pains.

Softening your tension.

This energy of peace melting away the judgments,

The blame.

Softening the fear,

The worries and the regrets.

Peace moving through your entire body now.

And really noticing how it feels for you.

How does it feel in your body?

How does it feel in your heart?

This is your wisdom.

Your inner refuge.

It's available to you anywhere anytime you need it.

All you need to do is breathe and allow your awareness to sink below the surface of your busy mind.

Long smooth inhale.

Pause at the top.

Long smooth exhale.

Here in this moment you feel drawn to share your inner peace with those you love.

With each breath sending your experience of peace out into the world.

Allowing it to land within the hearts and minds of those you love.

It feels good to share your sense of inner refuge,

Your experience of peace with those you love.

And if you are able with each breath sending your peace out into the world.

Imagining people all around the globe receiving this gift you so freely give.

This vibration of peace moving across the globe.

Landing within the bodies minds and hearts of those who really need it.

Resting here in your inner refuge.

Resting here in connection with all life.

Creating a new baseline for peace within yourself and the world.

This is a moment of recalibration.

Breathe it in.

Breathe it out.

Allow it to land within your individual nervous system and the collective consciousness.

Sealing your practice with a smile.

This smile a warm hearted reminder that breath by breath,

Heartbeat by heartbeat we can make a difference in the world.

Wiggling your fingers and toes.

Opening your eyes.

May you move through your day carrying the gift of this practice.

This was so amazing. Just what I needed today. And right before you mentioned sending the peace out into the world I was thinking of people in my life who need this kind of peace. So of course I sent it to them. ❀️ Bless you.

The title of this meditation is what drew me to it. It is exactly as the title describes; a guiding of the breath toward inner self and peacefulness. Wonderful!

A delightful gem. I've sent thus to several of my patients already. I did wish the piano was a bit softer though.
