Cosa imparerai
Commit to 21 days of writing with daily journaling prompts designed to help you release stress, restore balance, and cultivate inner calm. Each day, you’ll be guided through specific prompts to help you meet stress honestly, uncover hidden tension, and explore how it shows up in your body and mind. Through self-reflection, you’ll notice patterns, challenge unhelpful stories, and begin to let go of what you cannot control. Each day, a new topic is introduced with a short talk, followed by 10 minutes of gentle music to write to. As the course unfolds, you’ll start to understand your stress and what it is trying to communicate to you. Then, you'll create a sense of safety within yourself, set boundaries, and offer yourself compassion. In the final week, you’ll focus on rewriting your relationship with stress, designing your days around calm, and building a personal toolkit for resilience. By the end of the 21 days, you’ll not only have released mental and physical tension but also gained personal practices and a deeper sense of what it means to hold calm in your everyday life. All you need is a pen, paper, and around 15 minutes per day.

Lezione 1
Meeting Your Stress
Journaling is not just about documenting your day. It is a tool for self-awareness. When you allow your thoughts to land on the page, something powerful happens - what feels tangled internally begins to untangle. What feels vague becomes clearer. And what feels overwhelming becomes more manageable. Today, you will meet your stress on the page!
Lezione 2
Hidden Sources Of Stress
Not all stress is visible. Some of the heaviest pressures we carry are the ones no one else sees. The quiet expectations. The silent responsibilities. Often, these hidden tensions are the ones that drain us most because we carry them alone. Today is about acknowledging what stress has been sitting beneath the surface.
Lezione 3
Body Check-In
Stress doesn’t just live in our thoughts. It lives in our nervous system, and it shows up in tight shoulders, clenched jaws, shallow breathing, heavy chests, and unsettled stomachs. The body is always communicating with you. The question is… are you listening?
Lezione 4
The Story I'm Telling
Our minds are natural storytellers. They try to make sense of situations, to predict outcomes, to protect us. But sometimes, the stories we repeat can amplify pressure, create fear, or make situations feel heavier than they truly are. Today is about examining the narrative.
Lezione 5
Control Versus Surrender
Stress often grows in the space where we are trying to manage, predict, or fix things that may not actually be ours to carry. The mind wants certainty. It wants guarantees. It wants outcomes to unfold in a particular way - but not everything is within our hands. Today, you will distinguish between what you can and cannot control.
Lezione 6
Stress Patterns
Stress is also about how we respond to certain situations. Most of those responses are automatic, learned, repeated, and familiar. When you’re stressed, do you: Overwork? Withdraw? Overthink? People-please? Get irritable? Shut down? There is no judgment here. Patterns are simply protective strategies your nervous system has learned over time. Today is about noticing your own patterns.
Lezione 7
What Calm Feels Like
Today, instead of looking at stress, we turn toward calm. Because calm is not something you have to invent from scratch. It’s something you’ve already experienced, even if only briefly, and even if it feels far away right now. Calm leaves clues, and when we tap into these clues, we can learn how to connect to calm on a regular basis.
Lezione 8
Permission To Pause
So many of us have learned to push through stress. To override fatigue. To keep going. To be productive, capable, and reliable. We push because it feels safer than stopping. But sometimes, what your nervous system truly needs is not more effort, it’s space and time to simply be.
Lezione 9
Boundaries And Energy
This week is about regulation, creating inner safety, and building calm as a daily practice. Yesterday, you explored permission to pause. Today, we look at something that deeply affects stress levels: boundaries and energy. Your energy is one of your most valuable resources. And yet, many of us give it away unconsciously. Call it back now by setting healthy boundaries.
Lezione 10
The Inner Critic Versus The Wiser Self
When stress rises, many of us hear a familiar, sharp commentary in our minds - the voice that says, “You should be handling this better,” “Why can’t you do this right?” or “You’re not enough.” These messages can intensify tension, tighten the body, and keep us trapped in cycles of self-judgment. But there’s another voice inside you as well - a wiser, calmer voice. Today you will connect with both voices.
Lezione 11
Self Compassion In Stress
For many of us, stress doesn’t just come from what’s happening around us. It’s intensified by how we speak to ourselves during moments of stress. Today, we explore what your inner tone is like when you're overwhelmed. Is it patient? Or is it critical, demanding, disappointed? Often, we expect ourselves to handle everything perfectly. We push harder. We judge ourselves for struggling. And that inner pressure adds another layer to our already stressful moment.
Lezione 12
The Nervous System Reset
Stress doesn’t only live in our thoughts. It lives in the body, in the rhythms of breath, in tight muscles, in shallow heartbeats, and in the subtle signals our nervous system sends. When the nervous system feels unsafe or overstimulated, stress is amplified. But when we intentionally create safety in the body, calm follows.
Lezione 13
Releasing Mental Overload
Stress can also be found in the constant chatter, to-do lists, and swirling thoughts in our heads. This type of stress is known as mental overload, and it can feel heavy, tangled, and exhausting. The first step to clearing it is giving it space.
Lezione 14
Rest As Medicine
In our busy, achievement-driven culture, rest is sometimes seen as optional, or even as a sign of laziness. But rest is not a luxury. Rest is medicine. It restores the nervous system, replenishes energy, and allows clarity, creativity, and calm to flourish.
Lezione 15
Reframing Pressure
Stress can feel heavy, consuming, and personal. It can convince you that something is wrong, that you are behind, or that you are not handling things well enough. But what if pressure is not a sign that you are failing? What if it is simply a sign that you are being stretched into a new capacity? Growth often feels like tension before it feels like strength.
Lezione 16
Letting Go
Today, think about what you are ready to let go of. What have you been carrying around for too long – perhaps physical tension, mental overload, expectations, regrets, thoughts of what you could have done differently? Letting go allows for lightness, a sense of space, and freedom. It can free up the tension you are holding in your shoulders, and it can create space for a deeper breath to land in your body.
Lezione 17
Gratitude
Gratitude carries a different frequency than stress. Where stress contracts the body and narrows the mind, gratitude softens, opens, and expands. When you intentionally bring your awareness to what is supportive, steady, or meaningful, you shift your nervous system out of survival mode and into a state of receptivity. It is not about pretending everything is perfect; it is about training your attention to recognize that even within challenge, there is still support and beauty. That shift alone can create space for calm to rise naturally rather than trying to force it.
Lezione 18
Redesigning My Days
When you begin to prioritise calm, you naturally begin to organise your time, energy, and attention more intentionally. And vice versa – when you begin to organise your time and energy, you begin to make space for calm to naturally arise.
Lezione 19
My Personal Calm Toolkit
Having an anti-stress toolkit gives you something solid to reach for when emotions rise, rather than leaving you at the mercy of whatever reaction comes first. In moments of pressure, the nervous system moves quickly, and it can be difficult to think clearly or choose a calm response. When you have a small collection of practices already decided, you remove the guesswork and can create immediate stability.
Lezione 20
Meeting My Future Self
Today, you are going to meet your future self. The version of you who holds calm effortlessly, even when life feels challenging. The version of you who understands where stress is coming from. Who has daily practices and a toolkit of resources for handling stressful situations, setting boundaries, and living from a space of calm.
Lezione 21
Integration And Commitment
To close this course, it’s time to acknowledge the challenges you faced during these 21 days, the effort you showed up with, and the tools you have developed. Celebrate the awareness you’ve built and the courage it took to look inward.
