Lesson 1

Connecting To Your Inner Voice

The body in it’s healthiest state feels open, free, strong and can trust in itself. When we look after our bodies through regular movement, processing our emotions and experiences, and giving back with self care, our body can stay healthy and strong. The inner voice can help to guide you to make healthy choices for yourself.

Stretch And Awaken

It’s time to awaken the body through gentle movement. In today’s session, you’ll explore moving and breathing as a combination to expand through your body and your heart. Daily check-ins allow time for you to connect with what your body needs.

Lesson 3

Movement With Mantras

Today we are going to connect movement and sound. To do this, we will work with the power of mantras. Mantras are repetitive sounds that can help you to drop into a meditative state, a trance state. The repetition of the words also helps you to cultivate an inner power.

Lesson 4

Breath Of Joy

The Breath of Joy is a pranayama exercise, or breathing exercise, that opens up the heart space, and helps to energize the body. Before we get into the details of the practice, its important to know that breathwork is a wonderful companion to movement exercises.

Lesson 5

Dance Meditation

Dancing is a way of moving the body and expressing what is being stored within you. Today, make sure you have space to move your body, to free flow and move intuitively. Let the music guide you as you take this journey through a dance meditation.

Lesson 6

Walking Meditation

Walking is part of our daily lives. Regardless of if you walk a little or a lot, walking is a practice that can become meditative, to help you connect with your body and mind. Think about the last time you went for a walk. What was happening in your mind while you walked?

Lesson 7

Shaking

Today is the day to shake it up! Our bodies hold onto old stories, so often, these stories hold us back from fully embracing who we want to be, or who we want to show up as. So, today we will explore a practice to release the old and step into the new. This practice is called shaking.

Lesson 8

Body Scan

So far in this course, there has been a lot of movement. Now it's time to check in and see what changes have occurred. To do this, we will work with a body scan. To move your awareness through your body and to see what is being stored in there. In stillness, we can connect with ourselves on a deeper level. We are given the opportunity to listen to what our body wants to communicate.

Fascial Release And Massage

Today we are looking at the fascial tissue and how that can enable or restrict movement. Fascia is the stringy connective tissue that surrounds every part of your body. It supports your muscles, organs, nerves, bones, joints, ligaments and tendons. When it is healthy, it is flexible and moves easily, allowing your body to move easily.

Integration

Today we reach the final day of the course, and we’ll be looking at integration. How can you bring together all that you’ve learnt, to create a healthy movement routine? How can you use movement as medicine to feel free in your body?
