Close your eyes and begin to breathe in and out.
Calmly following your breath and just relaxing your entire body.
Let yourself sink deeper and deeper into relaxation with every breath out.
Let go fully and relax every single muscle in your body.
Your eyes feel so heavy and tired that they simply stay shut.
You are completely relaxed and totally at ease.
Each muscle fiber lets go as you breathe calmly and evenly in and out.
Breathe out tension with every exhale and breathe in relaxation with every inhale.
Feel your body becoming heavier.
Allow a beautiful wave of relaxation to flow from your head through your body and down to the tips of your toes.
As your body relaxes more and more,
Feel your mind becoming lighter.
See all of your thoughts just passing by like little clouds in the sky.
Whenever a thought appears,
It leaves just as easily as it came.
Let your mind be free.
Begin to deepen your breath as if you were sleeping peacefully at night.
You are becoming more free and more peaceful with every breath in and out.
I am now going to count down from 10 to 1.
As I count down,
You will imagine yourself climbing deeper down into yourself,
Into deeper relaxation.
What has been and what is yet to come does not matter.
All that matters is your relaxation.
With every step,

Seeing the image vividly in your mind's eye.

How does it look there?
Take time to look around curiously and see what you discover.
Do you see a house or an apartment?
Are you in a city or in nature?
Take some time now to look around.
You will now walk to the front door and there you will meet yourself 10 years in the future.
Slowly approach the door.
Who will you be?
Maybe you have aged,
Maybe you have changed.
You knock on the door and you hear footsteps coming.
Your future self is about to open the door.
There you are,
Your future self in 10 years.
How do you look?
How do you feel?
You are being welcomed with a friendly smile because your visit was expected.
Your future self invites you inside.
How does it smell in there?
What can you see?
Is somebody else there?
Maybe some pets or other people?
You sit down with your future self.
It is now your turn to ask some questions.
Your first question could be,
How do you feel in your heart?
What does your life look like?
Go on and ask anything you would like to know.
Listen mindfully to whatever answers are given.
The next question is very important.
What do I have to change now to live how I want to live in the future?
What should I keep doing the same?
Again,
Take time to listen to the answers.
It is time to say goodbye.
Give your future self a big hug.
Your future self thanks you for the visit from the past and for the chance to perhaps change a few things.
Give gratitude to your future self for assisting so that you can set the course to shape the perfect future.
You are now ready to return to the here and now with a few more answers and with an image in your heart nobody can ever take away from you.
You will approach everything with more happiness,
Optimism and positivity.
I will now count from one to five and at five you will open your eyes to a new world.

Everything you saw and heard is deeply anchored inside of you.

You are slowly beginning to arrive back into your body in the here and now.
