We often assume that if we’re struggling with stress, it’s because there’s something about us that needs fixing. But the liberating truth is that as part of the human race, we already come with all the resilience and inner resources we could ever need to deal with problems.

It looks as if stress comes from situations outside us such as problems with our health, finances, or relationships. But if this is true, why is it that sometimes we’re stressed by our circumstances and other days we’re not?
