Ce que vous apprendrez
This course explores the science behind screen and social media habits, including the dopamine reward cycle and why putting your phone down feels so difficult. You will learn to identify personal triggers and understand the true cost of constant connectivity to your attention, sleep, and mental health. Over seven 20-minute audio sessions, we combine accessible science, honest reflection, and practical guidance. You will build replacement habits using science-backed tools and design a personalized digital life. By the end of the course, you will create a Personal Digital Charter and establish a daily Screen-Free Moment to restore presence and calm. This journey is for anyone who feels their phone use has become automatic rather than intentional. If you want to understand the 'why' behind your habits and reclaim your time without unrealistic detoxes, this course meets you exactly where you are. Enjoy flexible listening and a warm, non-judgmental approach to changing your relationship with technology.

Leçon 1
Awareness Without Judgment
In this opening session we begin where all meaningful change begins — with honest, compassionate awareness. Before we can reset our relationship with technology, we need to see it clearly. Drawing on the fascinating neuroscience behind screen habits and the dopamine reward cycle, this session helps you understand exactly why your phone feels so difficult to put down — and why that has never been a question of willpower. You will also be introduced to your first practical tool. No judgment, no pressure, no dramatic overhaul — just the beginning of something genuinely transformative.
Leçon 2
The Habit Loop
In today's session we go deeper into the science of why screen habits feel so deeply ingrained — and more importantly, what you can actually do about it. You will discover how every habit, without exception, follows the same three part neurological loop of cue, routine and reward — and why understanding this loop is the key to changing it. Crucially, we explore why willpower alone almost never works when it comes to screen habits, and what the research tells us actually does. You will begin identifying your own personal phone triggers and design your first conscious replacement habit — a practical, science-backed alternative that begins to rewire your automatic behaviour from the inside out. This is where the real change begins.
Leçon 3
Reclaiming Your Attention And Nervous System
In today's session we explore what constant connectivity is actually costing you — not in abstract terms, but specifically, personally and neurologically. Drawing on compelling research into attention, focus and the impact of digital interruption, you will discover why the scattered, hollow tiredness at the end of a screen-heavy day is not imaginary — and exactly what is causing it. We also explore the profound impact of screen use on your nervous system, your stress levels and the quality of your sleep, and why these costs are greater than most people realise. You will leave this session with a simple but powerful one minute nervous system reset, and a clear, specific screen boundary to carry into your day — practical tools that begin to restore the calm, focused presence that constant connectivity quietly erodes.
Leçon 4
The Social Media Scroll
In today's session we turn our attention to one of the most compelling and most misunderstood digital habits of our time — the social media scroll. You will discover exactly how social media platforms are designed to keep you scrolling, why the unpredictability of the feed is more neurologically compelling than the content itself, and how the Zeigarnik effect explains why infinite scroll makes it so difficult to simply stop. But beyond the platform design, we explore something more fundamental and more human — what you are actually looking for when you scroll. Because beneath the automatic reach for the phone lies a genuine human need, and understanding that need is what gives you real and lasting choice over the behaviour. You will leave today's session with the Scroll Audit — a simple, powerful practice that inserts conscious awareness at the exact moment the habit loop would otherwise run unchallenged.
Leçon 5
Comparison Culture And Your Worth
In today's session we explore one of the most quietly damaging aspects of social media use — comparison culture. You will discover why the urge to measure yourself against others is not a personal flaw but a deeply wired human instinct, and how social media exploits that instinct in ways that consistently undermine wellbeing, self-worth and life satisfaction. Drawing on compelling research into social comparison theory and the psychological impact of passive social media use, this session helps you understand exactly what is happening when the scroll leaves you feeling flat, behind or not quite enough. You will also take practical action today — auditing and consciously curating your digital environment so that it begins to serve your wellbeing rather than quietly erode it. This is one of the most personally meaningful sessions of the week — and one of the most empowering.
Leçon 6
Intentional Digital Living
In today's session we bring everything you have learned this week together into something practical, personal and lasting. Because this is where so many digital detoxes fall apart — not in the doing, but in the after. Drawing on powerful research into implementation intentions and bright line rules, you will discover exactly why specific, clearly defined boundaries are so much more effective than vague good intentions — and why that clarity feels not restrictive but genuinely freeing. Today you will design your own Personal Digital Charter — a written, personalised document outlining your conscious digital boundaries, your key replacement habits and your daily Screen-Free Moment commitment. This is not a set of rules imposed from the outside. It is a declaration, in your own words, of how you choose to live — and the most important practical step you will take this week.
Leçon 7
Your New Relationship With Technology
In this final session we celebrate how far you have come — and consolidate everything you have learned, felt and practised this week into something that belongs to you, not just for today but for the long term. Drawing on the remarkable science of neuroplasticity, you will discover that the awareness, habits and choices you have been building this week have been literally, physically changing your brain — and that those changes continue to compound and deepen with consistent practice. Today is not about new science or new tools. It is about integration, reflection and a clear, confident sense of who you are becoming in your relationship with technology. You will add a final, personal chapter to your Digital Charter, and leave this course not with a set of rules to follow, but with a genuine and lasting shift in how you see yourself, your attention and your place in a screen saturated world.
