The early stages of pregnancy are a very exciting time,
But this can also be a time of extreme tiredness and generally feeling unwell.
Morning sickness,
While perfectly natural,
Can feel never ending and all encompassing and is not always easy to manage.
This meditation is designed to help you to manage your morning sickness and create a situation where it can be reduced.
Please now get into a comfortable position.
If you need to change position throughout this meditation,
Please do so.
As you gently close your eyes,
Start to focus on your breath.
Breathe in slowly to the count of five.
One,
Two,
Three,
Four,
Five.
Then hold it and then exhale.
One,
Two,
Three,
Four,
Five.
Breathe in again slowly.
One,
Two,
Three,
Four,
Five.
Hold,
Then out.
One,
Two,
Three,
Four,
Five.
You are now feeling so relaxed,
Now deeply relaxed.
The connection is now open between your mind and your body.
You are able to tell your body how you choose to feel.
The words you choose are up to you,
But you may like to tell your body that you appreciate all it is doing to carry this precious life and to nourish and protect your beautiful unborn child.
It is okay that your body has reacted to this pregnancy with a feeling of nausea.
Some people believe that this is nature,
But it is okay that your body has reacted to this pregnancy with a feeling of nausea.
Some people believe that this is nature's way of protecting the new life inside of you,
Of ensuring that you eat limited types of food in the beginning of your pregnancy and that you take time to rest and take care of yourself.
However,
You may tell your body that you choose to no longer feel sick,
That you are in control and you understand that you need to take care of yourself and this new precious life that is growing inside you.
You are feeling grateful for this amazing new little life.
Being pregnant is a wonderfully natural state of being.
You have nothing to fear.
Your body knows what it is doing and you choose to feel a lovely warm glow of gratitude for this new life inside of you,
No matter how you are feeling.
As you keep breathing deeply,
I want you to imagine that every breath you take in is a cleansing breath that brings lovely clear air into your body,
That cleanses your body and washes over the sickness you are feeling.
As you breathe out,
Imagine the sickness leaving your body with your breath.
You may want to imagine a lovely pale pink calming light entering your body with your breath and a grey mist exiting your body as you breathe out.
With each cool soft pink breath in,
You start to feel better and with each grey mist breath out,
You feel the sickness leaving your body.
As you keep breathing slowly and gently,
Continue to imagine breathing in lovely healing air.
This air will strengthen your body and as your body relaxes,
You feel so much better.
Continue to breathe like this for a few moments longer.
You are strong.
Your body is strong.
You will feel better and better as each day passes.
You are creating a new life and your body knows what to do.
You are safe,
Your baby is safe and your body is calm and well.
You are feeling better and better as each day passes.
You are creating a new life and your body knows what to do.

Your body is calm and well.
Focus on your breath for a little moment longer.
Feel the lovely purifying air filling your lungs and cleansing your body.
You are surrounded by lovely white light.
You feel cleansed,
Purified,
Relaxed and calm.
You are safe.
You are at peace.
You are well.
As you start to slowly move your hands and feet and gently start to move your body,
You feel a calm state settle over you.
As you open your eyes,
You are now feeling healthy,
Strong and ready to continue your day.
