Building healthy self-esteem will have a positive impact on your ability to make the right decisions for your life, your relationships, and your overall well-being. You will feel inspired to take on new challenges and you will have a much better chance of reaching your potential. Listening to this meditation every day for a month will improve your self-esteem by quieting the negative voice in your head and opening your mind to the wonderful qualities you have as a human being.

Transcript

Let's start by finding a comfortable position that can be sitting in a supportive chair,

Sitting on the floor or lying down.

Make sure that no one will disturb you for the time it takes to listen to this meditation.

And if you need to put your phone on do not disturb or silent then please do so now.

Leaving your eyes open for the moment,

Take a slow deep breath in and as you breathe out allow your focus to soften.

Take another slow deep breath in letting it slowly out again and when you are ready gently close your eyes.

With your eyes now closed take another slow deep breath in and then gently release the breath.

Let your breath return to normal now and gently bring your focus to the muscles in your face.

Bringing your attention to the muscles around your eyes.

Release any stress you are holding there.

Now move your attention to the muscles around your mouth and the muscles in your tongue.

Gently release any tension that you feel there.

Now move your focus to your shoulders allowing them to relax and drop down further towards the floor.

Let your attention run down your arms to your hands and allow your hands to be completely relaxed.

Let your hands fall open if they want to.

Taking another slow deep breath in and as you breathe out feel the muscles in your back relaxing.

Slowly bring your attention down your legs towards your feet.

If you are sitting up feel your feet as they connect with the ground.

If you are lying down on your back feel the heels of your feet resting on the surface beneath you.

Know that you are safe,

You are feeling calm and your mind is open.

How we feel about ourselves which we will call self-esteem determines the life that we create.

Believing in ourselves,

Being confident in our abilities and knowing that we are contributing to those around us is what will build your self-esteem.

But many of us suffer from not feeling worthy.

Perhaps you were told in your childhood that you were not good enough or you experienced bullying at school.

Perhaps you never received the results at school that you wanted and therefore decided that you were not a good student leaving you feeling unworthy or not smart enough to have the life you were dreaming about.

How we feel about ourselves determines everything that happens to us on a daily basis.

By building a strong sense of self,

Working on our confidence and creating a supportive level of self-esteem we can go on to truly live the life of our dreams.

While success means different things to different people,

Living a life of success is simply living a life that meets your needs and desires.

In order to do that you need to believe in yourself,

To have the confidence in your own decision-making abilities and to love and forgive yourself and that is the ultimate road to happiness and contentment.

Every person is able to do what they put their mind to but we need a strong self-belief system to support that in the first place.

Taking another slow deep breath in now with your eyes remaining closed,

Gently let the breath out and feel your body sinking further into the surface beneath you.

You are safe,

You are worthy,

You are loved.

Allowing yourself to relax further,

Shift your mind to any tension you may be feeling.

If you find tension in your body,

Put your focus on that area now and release the tension by relaxing the muscles.

I am now going to say some affirmations out loud and we pause in between each one allowing you to repeat them to yourself either out loud or in your head.

I will then repeat them for a second time.

Do not worry if you feel any resistance coming up when you hear any of the affirmations,

Just note it away in your mind and think about it when the meditation is over.

Take one more deep breath in and release it slowly and now repeat after me.

I deserve to be happy.

I appreciate who I am as a human being.

I am at peace with who I am.

I see my life as the gift that it is.

I have a very bright and happy future ahead of me.

I am worthy of happiness.

I am worthy of great success.

I forgive myself for any mistakes I have made.

I love and accept myself more and more every day.

I have the power and the ability to create the life I want.

I am enough.

I deserve to be happy.

I appreciate who I am as a human being.

I am at peace with who I am.

I see my life as the gift that it is.

I have a very bright and happy future ahead of me.

I am worthy of happiness.

I am worthy of great success.

I forgive myself for any mistakes I have made.

I love and accept myself more and more every day.

I have the power and the ability to create the life I want.

I am enough.

Take another slow deep breath in.

As you breathe out,

Release any tension that you may have felt in your body while you listened to or repeated the affirmations.

Building a strong sense of self and building self-esteem takes time and requires you to be patient with yourself.

If you noticed any of the affirmations making you tense up,

You will recall it when we finish this meditation and you can think about it then.

Even if you did not feel any tension,

I recommend you listen to this meditation for 30 days in a row.

Our self-esteem and self-confidence is built on our subconscious beliefs.

You may need to change beliefs that have been there your whole life.

Many of them have been anchored deep inside of you through strong emotions that may have arisen during an experience from your past.

You are a wonderful person and the world is truly blessed to have you here.

You deserve great happiness and you deserve to be loved by yourself and others.

We are now going to bring our minds back into the room by taking in a strong deep breath and releasing that breath while moving your fingers and toes.

Feel yourself settle in your body and place your hands on your heart.

Wish yourself love and happiness and when you are ready you may open your eyes.
