Stop and breathe now as you become aware of your body.
Take a moment to relax and to drop into your body.
Feel what is happening with it.
Notice how you are supported,
What shape you are in,
Any sensations which seem significant.
Try to experience your body as energy.
Feel,
Hear and see the energy flowing through and gathering in you.
As you become aware of your body as energy,
Zoom your focus out a little to imagine yourself and the room you are in.
You can make a picture or notice a feeling of expulsion.
You don't have to experience this deeply.
Just be aware.
Now zoom out a little more.
Visualise the entire building you are in.
If you like you could try to see and feel the energy patterns of anybody else in the building.
Or it may be enough to just know that they are there.
Really get a sense of the building that you are in and where you are in relation to it.
Now you can bring your focus out even further to the size of the street that you are on.
Notice how many buildings are on the street.
How many living beings there are.
Try to visualise them or grasp their energy pattern.
Now expand your focus a little more to visualise the settlement where you are,
The town or village.
See how much energy is there.
Feel all of the living beings,
All of the interactions which are going on.
And from there you can make the picture even bigger to encompass the whole country where you are located.
Noting your own place on that map.
See yourself as a dot on the map.
Notice any sensations that this brings.
And I'll zoom out even further to see an image of the whole globe and notice where you are in that image and what else you see.
How does it feel to be such a small part of the picture?
You can expand your awareness more now so that you see our whole solar system,
The sun,
All of the planets,
Their satellites and try to reach for where in that picture you are.
Now you can zoom out and just imagine our galaxy,
The Milky Way.
See the stars spiralling into the night.
Notice any sensation which you associate with this image.
Can you get a sense of where you are now?
One more time,
Expand your awareness and visualise the universe,
Eternal,
Endless,
Ever expanding universe.
The one song with all of the galaxies and stars which it encompasses.
How does that feel?
What do you notice?
Now it's time to start to come back in.
So from your image of the universe,
Find that spiral galaxy of ours and just zoom into that.
Reach for our solar system and bring that back into your full focus.
Can you find the planet earth?
Let that fill your awareness.
Meet your country on the globe and zoom in.
To your town.
To your street.
To the room you're in.
Bring yourself back into your body.
Feel yourself resting where you are.
As you notice your breathing,
The shape of your limbs,
Notice whether you've gained a new perspective.
See what this perspective is,
Hook it in close.
You will bring it with you as you come out of your meditation.
Notice any sounds which are within your awareness.
If you feel like it,
You can wiggle your fingers or toes or anything else which feels like it needs a wake up.
You may wish to open your eyes,
Do so slowly and let your surroundings slowly come back into focus.
All the tiny muscles at the corners of your mouth up to your ears.
Bring your hands together and prepare to go about your day,
Bringing your new perspective with you.
