COURSE

Reiki Through Time And Space

This course is for those who already have Reiki (if you’re new to Reiki, start with Keziah’s “21 Day Reiki Realisation” course here on Insight Timer). It is a practice space for sending Reiki over distance - specifically through time and space. Anyone with Reiki can do this, and it can be tremendously empowering to be able to send healing energy across time, to past and future events, and across space, to anyone known or unknown. In this course you’ll learn how to tap into your connection with all that is to channel Reiki where you want to, and practice sending Reiki to different times, places and people. The background music is by Chris Collins.

Lesson 1

Introducing Reiki Through Time And Space

Discover what to expect from the course with this short overview and introduction to the principles of distance healing that we'll be using to send Reiki through time and space. There is no practice in this session.

Lesson 2

Reiki for An Ancestor In Their Time

In this session, we will be sending Reiki to an Ancestor in their time. You can choose any Ancestor of Time, Place, or Family, known or unknown, and we will connect with them and send Reiki back to when they were alive.

Lesson 3

Reiki For Usui Sensei And Past Reiki People

In today's session, we send Reiki back in time to Usui Sensei, before extending our practice to cover everyone who has ever had a Reiki experience. This is a beautiful way to honour Usui Sensei and Reiki as a shared experience.

Lesson 4

Reiki For Your Birth

In today's session, we send Reiki back in time to the moment you were born, bringing radiant Reiki energy into the world with you. It doesn't matter whether you know anything about your birth or not, the Reiki will still go there.

Lesson 5

Reiki For A Past Self

In today's session, you will send Reiki to a past version of yourself. The first time you do this practice, you should choose a past version of yourself that is easy to relate to, and you can come back and practice with more complex versions of yourself as you master the practice.

Lesson 6

Reiki For A Past Event

In today's session, we will send Reiki back in time to a past event. You can choose an event that's personal or communal/collective, and the first time you do this practice it should be one that's not too difficult.

Lesson 7

Reiki For A Friend Or Loved One

We are moving into the present today and sending Reiki to a friend or loved one. In this session we remind ourselves of the principles of distance healing, which are that we leave our own objectives out of it and let the Reiki do its thing.

Lesson 8

Reiki Loving Kindness

Loving Kindness is a traditional meditation which has been shown to have enormous benefits. In today's session, we add a Reiki twist, sending Reiki to a loved one, a neutral person, a disliked person, ourselves, and all these people as a group.

Lesson 9

Reiki For Someone Unknown

In today's session, we'll send Reiki to someone unknown. This is an excellent exercise in trusting Reiki to go where it's needed, releasing our own need to control outcomes. You'll be guided to connect to an unknown person to send the Reiki.

Lesson 10

Reiki For All Beings

In today's session, we use the Web of Life to connect in with all beings, and send Reiki through the web for everyone. This is a lovely reminder that all is connected, and we can send Reiki to human and non-human beings alike.

Lesson 11

Reiki For The Planet

In today's session, we will connect in with and send Reiki to Planet Earth. Offering Reiki energy is a wonderful way to give back to the Earth our home, who so needs our love, care, and protection right now.

Lesson 12

Reiki For Peace

In this session, we'll be working together to send Reiki for peace. The technique you'll learn to represent Peace can also be used to charge and send Reiki to other intangible concepts. Everyone deserves to live in peace.

Lesson 13

Reiki For Your Whole Life

In this session, you'll practice a technique to send Reiki to your whole life - past, present, and future. In order to connect with our whole lives, we'll be using a timeline to send Reiki backwards and forwards.

Lesson 14

Reiki For A Future Event

In today's session, we will be sending Reiki to a future event. You can choose a personal or collective event, but it should be one that you know is likely to happen or are anticipating in the near future.

Lesson 15

Reiki For A Future Self

In today's session, you will send Reiki to a future version of yourself. We'll be practising a technique where you send Reiki inwards to take with you as you travel into your future life. You may not know who you are becoming, but the Reiki will be with you anyway!

Lesson 16

Reiki For Your Death

In today's session you will fill your body with Reiki to be released at the time of your death. Mortality isn't always comfortable, and if it is not an easy subject for you to hold space for at the moment, it’s fine to skip ahead to the next session, and come back to this one when you are ready.

Lesson 17

Reiki For A Descendent in Their Time

In this final session of our course, we'll be sending Reiki into the future for a descendent in their time. We may not yet know who comes after us, but we can send them Reiki with our loving intention anyway.

This is a wonderful course. Keziah's gentle guidance has led me to a more profound understanding of Reiki. I took my time with it as there's a few sessions that can be a bit intense, but I recommend it most highly to anyone wishing to work with this form of healing energy.
