The Scandinavian Mindset : "Lagom" & "Jantelagen"
In this lesson we will explore the key concepts of Lagom (« enough » or « just right » in Swedish) as well as Jantelagen (the law of Jante : an implicit law valuing equality and humility). These concepts are promoting the idea that it’s enough to be yourself - which helps us find balance in humility, community, lack of pressure or comparison with others.

Let Your Home Be The Sanctuary Of Your Peace : "Mysigt"
In this lesson we will explore the concept of « mysigt ». Mysigt is a Swedish word and concept that can be translated into "comfort", "coziness" and spending meaningful time together in a cozy environment. Mysigt is promoting wellness by encouraging balance, mindfulness and a sense of belonging.
Lección 3
Finding Happiness In The Small Things : "Hygge"
This lesson will explore the Danish concept of Hygge : quite similar to the idea of « mysigt » that we previously focused on - but hygge is more about finding meaning in social connection. Shared simple pleasures and the feeling of togetherness are important for living a healthy life.
Lección 4
Spending Time In Nature : "Friluftsliv" & "Allemansrätten"
In this lesson we will focus on the concepts of friluftsliv (outdoor living) and allemansrätten (freedom to roam) as they both promote spending time in nature as an important part of life. Spending time in the outdoors reduces stress, supports well-being as well as a sense of connection with the earth.
Lección 5
Take Care Of Your Body : Enjoy A Hot Sauna, Visit The Gym & Eat Healthy
Scandinavians are famous for being healthy and promoting a healthy lifestyle. Not only do they enjoy visiting the gym several times a week, they take time to walk, or bike instead of taking the car. They also enjoy the benefits of sauna as well as eating healthy.
