In each of these eight classes, we will explore a particular Tarot card by looking at its images, themes, and the story it tells. The High Priestess will initiate us into the mysteries of the divine feminine, the Wheel of Fortune will take us through its cyclic wisdom, the Ten of Wands will show us how to rest and put down our burdens, and more. We will take themes and ideas of each card into a nourishing yoga practice with creative, flowing sequences and long-held restful postures, all with an opportunity to sit, meditate, and optionally journal. We will move our bodies, balance our energies, and breathe while receiving the ancient wisdom of the Tarot cards. Each class begins with a discussion of the Tarot card (5-10 minutes) before we move into the Yoga practice (40-45 minutes). Classes are pre-recorded: attend at your own pace (weekly is suggested), and repeat any particular favourites as often as you like. These classes are created for all levels and abilities. Please bring any yoga props or at-home props you like to have. Do these classes alongside the advice of your doctor or health practitioner. Lektion 1
The High Priestess: Initiation Into The Mysteries (Yin/Flow)
In this class we look at the Dreamkeeper's Tarot version of the High Priestess by Liz Huston, considering her power as the one who sits before the veil to the unconscious realm of the divine feminine. We move through some Yin postures before a hip and heart opening Flow to open to the mysteries of the High Priestess.

Three of Coins: Bringing Joy To Difficult Lessons (Flow)
In this class, we look a the Three of Coins (or Three of Pentacles) from the Tarot of the Divine by Yoshi Yoshitani. It tells a story of learning difficult lessons through collaboration and coming out on the other side with joy. The practice is dynamic, flowing movement and includes a beloved sequence called the Heart Salutation before some rest and contemplation at the end of the class.

The Hermit: Honoring Heartbreak And Asking For Help (Yin/Flow)
In this class, we look at the Hermit from the Dreamkeeper's Tarot deck by Liz Huston, alongside the Three of Swords and the Six of Pentacles. We explore taking time to grieve or rest or be alone (the Hermit) to honor heartbreak (the Three of Swords) and ask for help to move forward (the Six of Pentacles). The practice is a Yin/Flow, so we spend some time at the beginning and the end resting in long-held stretches, and in between we return to movement andf flow including the Heart Salutation sequence.

The Ten Of Wands: Put Down The Burden (Restorative Yoga With Intuitive Movement)
In this class, we look at the Ten of Wands from the Tarot of the Divine by Yoshi Yoshitani (with a few other examples) and consider the regeneration that can come from death and the wisdom of resting your burdens. The practice is Restorative Yoga, which is a space to deeply rest, with optional intuitive movement in between each posture. This is an especially helpful class when you are tired, stressed, or grieving.

The Wheel Of Fortune: Surrender And Movement (Flow)
In this class, we look at the Wheel of Fortune with the Four of Pentacles and the Ace of Cups from the Dreamkeeper's Tarot by Liz Huston (where the Wheel of Fortune is called the Fates). We consider surrender and change and move through a Wheel-shaped Flow practice with some balance and standing postures.
Lektion 6
The Hanged Man: Dropping The Head Below The Heart (Flow)
In this class, we look at the Hanged Woman (sometimes called the Hanged Man or Hanged One) from Liz Huston's Dreamkeeper's Tarot. Its wisdom is connected to that of the Norse god Odin, where one sacrifices the mind in order to access the wisdom of the heart. This practice is a heart-centered Flow with some balancing, standing postures, and an invitation to a gentle inversion to allow the head to drop below the heart.

Strength: Self-Compassion And The Wisdom Of Gentleness (Restorative Yin And Flow)
This class looks at the Strength Tarot card from Liz Huston's Dreamkeeper's Tarot. The themes of this card are all about inner strength, self-love, and self-compassion, so we explore this through a movement practice integrated with some Restorative Yin yoga postures where we can fully rest and receive.
Lektion 8
Judgment: A Call To Adventure (Yin/Flow)
In this last class of our series, we worked with the Judgment Tarot card from Yoshi Yoshitani's Tarot of the Divine, where the Buddhist story of the Monkey King is recalled. We also look at Jessica Dore's interpretation from her book Tarot for Change. Judgment invites a movement away from where we've been and toward wherever it is that we are going. The image of the lotus flower, which moves through darkness into light based on some deep intuition, comes with us into a Yin/Flow practice, where we move through a sequence with a touch of qi gong and then a long hold in Pigeon pose, where we open our hips.
