We all benefit from some sweet time and space at the end of active part of our day to come back inside ourselves and process, review, cherish and savour the rich textures of our day. There are two main parts of human life - the "doing" part and the part where you integrate all that doing into your being, into wholeness. In this meditation, we ask ourselves what we were busy with today and with whom as a gateway into savouring all that we have within us and in our lives. No matter what kind of day you had, it's always special to be alive.

This is a relaxing evening,

Cherishing and savouring meditation.

Begin by settling in and taking your time,

Feeling your breathing.

Feel your presence,

That you are with yourself entirely now.

You are here for yourself.

And that wide presence,

Presence of the stable planet underneath you and of the space of all of infinity around you and all the life force and the mystery that is pulsating in that space.

Welcome yourself here.

Give yourself a luxurious breath.

What kind of breath feels deeply rich and luxurious for you right now?

Perhaps you'd like to clear away the day a little by taking a few clearing and releasing breaths,

Inhaling through your nose and releasing a breath through your mouth.

Once you've done that,

A few times,

Drinking in some lovely rich,

Slow,

Long,

Full breaths that feel wonderful to you now.

Letting your body sink gratefully into where you are.

Sinking into where you are sitting or lying.

Beginning to release the wear and tear,

The work of the day inside of you.

Enjoying maybe a feeling of things uncoiling and unwinding inside of you.

Every day you show up and do your best and give your all and you've done that today.

And all sorts of things will have happened to you today.

Begin by thinking of something today that you enjoyed,

That pleased you or inspired you,

Made you happy.

And simply breathe with that thought.

You can reimagine it.

You can be back in that moment and feel it again fully with your whole being.

Don't worry about other thoughts that are in your mind.

They're just coming up to be processed from the last action phase,

Perhaps,

Of your day.

Let all of your thoughts and your feelings be present in this welcome space.

Just absorb your attention in that moment today that you cherished.

You might lie a hand upon your heart and really feel that moment there.

And press it gently into your heart with your hand and feel as you breathe your heart reaching up to your hand to give you its love and pleasure of that moment,

That cherishing.

You can keep your hand there if you like and taking another conscious drink of breath,

Delicious and long and luxurious.

Think of what has been keeping you busy today.

Run those things through your head.

What has been keeping you busy today?

What things?

The connections you've made to others.

Maybe there have been visits or phone calls,

Emails,

Meetings,

Conversations.

What sort of connections have there been in your busy day?

And spend a moment cherishing that you are a connector and that your life is full of connections,

Full of relationships,

That you touch other people's lives and they are yours.

Keep with the luxury of your breath,

Filling and releasing.

Relaxing into yourself,

Your deep self and let more thoughts of what has kept you busy today come.

The work you've been doing.

You do all sorts of work,

All of us.

You might have been working in the garden,

You might have been working in an office,

You might have been working on a project.

You might have been working to look after the people you love.

What work have you been doing?

Your thoughts,

Your ideas,

Your creations.

The work you do using the muscles of your body.

Things you cannot do,

And that puts you in place in your heart Air,

Π•Ρ€ΡŒ And Commands,

Then you could take a moment to marvel that you have a brain with 8 billion neurons,

All of these connections more than there are stars in the galaxy.

Enjoy this space and time,

Drinking your breath,

Feeling the fullness and the richness of your breathing and on the out-breath that release,

That total letting go and feel how you can perhaps release more of yourself into the ground,

Melting and dissolving downwards,

Allowing yourself to completely be given over to the earth.

And thinking of what has kept you busy today,

What are the challenges you may have had?

The challenges,

Anything that felt like it stretched you or created a tug of war feeling.

Take a moment to recall and breathe with all the emotions you had during these challenges and still have now.

Breathe with yourself.

Take a moment to savour that you have the gift of being able to experience the world,

That you have the gift of being able to explore and learn and use effort.

You have the gift of effort,

Of experimentation.

It's not about getting it right,

But learning and growing.

What might you be grateful for that happened today that's helping you grow?

And now welcome rest.

Just take a rest in all these energies.

And any time you want during this rest,

You can bring your awareness to the moment you loved or any particular moment from your day.

And at the same time,

Allow your awareness,

Your attention to rest everywhere,

Everywhere it wants so that you too can rest in the richness of your day.

Letting all the elements of it be processed and integrated and released and weave you back into peaceful wholeness.

I like you. Rather, I like your disembodied voice. It feels caring and compassionate to me, and who wouldn't like that? By the way? There are way more stars in our galaxy than 8 billion. πŸ˜‡ thank you. πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡ΈπŸ€“πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§
