We funny humans can be so hard on ourselves, nagging ourselves that we are not doing enough, being enough - that we are not worthy enough. Nonsense! Every day you show up and do your best. How often do you reward yourself for that? Congratulate yourself? Rest on your laurels? You should - and every day! This meditation offers you the affirmation "I am proud of all my efforts" - take it in deeply, beyond the layers of self-doubt to the truth of your glowing spirit. You've done well. Enjoy.

This is an affirmation meditation for self-validation.

Sometimes when we get weary or caught up,

We forget how great we are,

How full of goodness,

And that every day we show up and do our best.

This might be for when you have times when you are comparing yourself to an unreachable standard that you've imposed on yourself or to other people,

To a script that you've pre-prepared and don't feel like you've really achieved,

Or to those times when you're comparing yourself with others.

Or perhaps you're just feeling unappreciated while you can be your own champion.

So the affirmation is,

I am proud of all my efforts.

You can say that to yourself now.

I am proud of all my efforts.

Let's sink in now into ourselves and really allow,

I am proud of all my efforts,

To sink in to every cell of our bodies where it will be recognised and remembered as the truth.

So begin as always by getting yourself as comfortable as possible.

You might take a yawn or a stretch or a sigh.

Settle into your own being,

Your own body,

Your presence.

And start to feel your breathing,

The ever-constant nourishing flow of energy and life within your being.

Take some lovely full breaths.

So you have a feeling of taking a whole breath throughout your whole body.

Taking breath from low down deep in your belly,

Letting it rise up into your heart and then into your collarbone,

Into your throat,

And then pouring that breath,

That whole breath,

All the way back down,

Down,

Down,

Back into your belly,

Deep into your roots.

Every time you take a breath,

You're inhaling all the beauty of life into your being.

Taking it deep inside,

Life deep inside of you,

And every time you breathe out,

The gift of your own breath is touching life again.

Just take a few breaths,

Really savouring that sacred rhythm.

And then feeling your own presence,

Connect to those parts of you that are completely constant and whole.

You have a heart,

A heart full of feeling and passion.

It comes in many forms,

In many emotions,

But it's yours,

Your passion for life.

And sometimes when you feel weary,

You may not feel in as much contact with that.

But feel now both the passion in your heart and also the tired places,

And breathe and let the two meet and commune and integrate together,

Weaving the places in your heart,

Your heart which is full of goodness and courage and truth and wisdom and delight,

And breathe with all the other things in your heart.

Again,

Letting your breath rise from deep in your belly into this place of feeling and aliveness.

And as you breathe here,

Recognise all your efforts,

The way you touch life and other people's lives,

Your ability to rise again,

To have new ideas,

New plans and projects,

To try to venture,

To explore your capacity for all of that exploration,

Your determination.

And as you meet and greet and feel those truths,

Feel,

See and breathe with the words,

I am proud of all my efforts.

I am proud of all my efforts.

Every day with the best of intention,

You show up and you do your best and you do well.

You give something of yourself to life every day that is welcomed by life with gratitude.

Offer that gratitude back to yourself.

Validate yourself for all your efforts,

Even when it's hard,

Even when you're tired,

And for all your great achievements,

The way you can inspire yourself and inspire others.

I am proud of all my efforts.

Keep breathing with those words and breathe them around your whole body into every part of you,

Following them with your attention.

I am proud of all my efforts,

Weaving its way around your body and infusing deeply into every cell.

You can say the words out loud,

I am proud of all my efforts,

And smile.

I am proud of all my efforts.

Let the corners of your lips turn up.

Look gladly upon yourself.

And then on the inside,

You can whisper or just say silently,

I am proud of all my efforts.

And feel from the bowl of your pelvis a wide smile,

An inner smile filling your body.

Looking within yourself gladly.

Receiving all your goodness.

Feeling the warmth,

The light,

The sparkling of all you are,

All you give,

All you create,

And your determination each day to show up and give your best.

I am proud of all my efforts,

Whatever comes,

Wherever they lead.

You can be proud of all your efforts.

Continue,

Let the words keep whispering in your being,

At some point they may dissolve and you may drift.

I am proud of all my efforts.

Allow yourself to rest now,

Just rest,

Completely sink in.

I am proud of all my efforts.

We'll still be pulsating and nourishing every cell.

Let's take a bath in quiet meditation here,

Just rest.

Now begin to think about transitioning.

Slowly and gently finding your nourishing breath again.

Filling with its clarity,

Maybe taking a stretch or some more subtle,

Slower movement.

Gradually awakening yourself,

Letting your eyes open when they're ready.

Just keep your gaze soft.

Allow the outside world to assimilate again before your view,

Its colours,

Its textures,

Its shapes.

You can know that the validation,

The truth,

I am proud of all my efforts will continue to pulse through every cell of you.

Continue to heal what needs to be healed and refresh you for whatever you're called for that's ahead.
