Visualizaion is nothing new when it comes to sports. It is a powerful mind-tool to use and can help you in many ways. So it was only fitting to create a quick pre-game visualization for the no.1 fastest-growing sport, pickle-ball. I hope it supports you in improving your game.

Welcome to this pre-game meditation for pickleball.

A visualization where you can visualize yourself playing a great game.

So sit somewhere comfortable where you can go ahead and close your eyes.

I want you to imagine now that you have the paddle in one hand and you are connecting to the ball in the other.

Just feeling the weight of the paddle and the ball.

Now take a deep breath in.

Connecting down through your feet to ground yourself here,

To become steady.

And then for the next while allowing the breath to simply flow in and out of your nose.

I am fully present here and ready for this game.

Imagine yourself playing the game now.

You are feeling light and nimble on your feet.

Your body is moving with ease.

Your arms in the right position.

Everything moving with ease.

You are bending your legs with ease,

Getting in the right position.

You are so fully present.

It is almost as if time slows down,

You are in the game.

You are one with the game.

Connecting to the ball.

Having that awareness to see where it is landing and you hit it.

You are one with the game,

One with the ball,

One with your paddle.

Imagining yourself hitting every ball and having that extra awareness to place it exactly where it needs to go.

I am getting into position with ease to hit each ball.

I have great awareness.

I am light and nimble on my feet.

I connect with the ball and I hit the ball.

And even if I miss a ball,

I move on to the next one.

I am in the game,

Flowing with ease,

Steady,

Moving,

Flowing,

Fully connected.

I have great clarity in my mind.

My breath is flowing with ease,

I am grounded yet light on my feet.

I am steady,

Bending,

Hitting,

Steady,

Flow.

Fully aware and present.

And you imagine yourself having played a great game.

So proud of yourself,

Leaving the court and feeling really excited and happy about your game.

Knowing that you are always growing and improving.

Open to this growth.

Proud of yourself.

Now go ahead and play your game.

Take a deep breath in,

Sealing this practice.

And get out on that court.

Have a great game.
