On Day 1, I will share common reasons for sleep problems. On Day 2, I will share easy ways to adjust your daily schedule that will support good quality sleep. On Day 3, I will share tips for establishing a bedtime ritual, which will help your body and mind wind down and relax before you go to bed, setting the stage for a night of restful sleep. On Day 4, I will share tips to help you get back to sleep if you awaken in the middle of the night. And on Day 5, I will share a Sleep Meditation you can use to relax your body and mind so you can descend into restful sleep.

In today's session, I will share some suggestions that will help you establish a bedtime ritual. It is important to wind down at the end of your day so that you are relaxed when you go to bed. Slowing down tells your brain that it is time to sleep and rejuvenate.

What To Do When You Awaken In The Middle Of The Night
In this session, I will share suggestions that you can implement to get back to sleep if you awaken in the middle of the night. It can be frustrating to be sleeping soundly, only to awaken in the middle of the night and be unable to get back to sleep. It is important to stay calm when you awaken because worry over getting back to sleep can release cortisol and other stress hormones that make it difficult to return to rest.

In today's session, I will share a sleep script with you that you can do anytime you need to descend into peaceful sleep. After the meditation, I include a few extra minutes of just music. Have a beautiful and peaceful night's sleep.
