
The Power Of Your Awareness ~ An Inspiration
Join me in this talk about the power of your awareness, your conscious awareness. I recorded this as an inspiration and to empower you with the awe-inspiring superpower of your own awareness. I was meditating and began downloading this truly awe-inspiring sensation of what our awareness can actually do. I felt called to record this talk and share it. Welcome,
I'm Jocelyn.
This track is a bit of an inspiration around using your awareness consciously.
I really want to inspire you to begin to use your awareness in your everyday life to change,
To transform,
To move through the stuff that's hard,
The things that you don't want to experience.
I want to empower you to use your awareness,
Your conscious awareness for your benefit,
To move through the hard stuff,
To alleviate,
To balance the nervous system.
Our awareness,
Our conscious awareness is amazing.
It's like,
It's intangible in a way,
Right?
We can't touch it.
We can't say,
Well,
Here's the binoculars.
The binoculars are my awareness,
Right?
I'm not holding my awareness.
I'm not holding my conscious awareness.
And it's not something I put on my eyes to begin to do something.
It is intangible in a way.
But when we actually begin to use our awareness and place it consciously around our body,
In our environment,
Using our senses,
Our memory,
Our imagination,
When we begin to use our awareness consciously,
We can transform anything.
And you know,
It's amazing.
So like I say,
It's not tangible,
But let me give you some inspiration for a minute here.
When you are breathing,
Right?
When you're just breathing and you're not aware of it,
You're just walking through your day breathing.
If you decide to bring your awareness,
Your conscious awareness to your breath,
Do you know that your breath naturally deepens and slows down just with the direction of awareness on it?
Again,
This is intangible,
Right?
In a way.
But all we have to do is bring our awareness to our breath and it naturally deepens and slows down.
That's pretty amazing.
Right?
It may not deepen and slow down into some crazy yogic breath,
But it does deepen and slow down just from our awareness being shown on it.
Another example is in yoga nidra,
We go through a rotation of consciousness.
And that is where you effortlessly bring your awareness around your body from place to place,
Right?
All over the body as you're guided.
And each place that your awareness kind of drops down into,
That also begins to rest,
To relax effortlessly.
Again,
Intangibly,
Because it's our awareness,
Our conscious awareness on different body parts.
And just by bringing your awareness,
Just by guiding your awareness to this part of your body,
It will begin to rest,
To let go,
To release.
It might even begin to tingle.
And there's nothing touching it.
It's the awareness and consciousness that's placed on that area.
That's pretty amazing.
If you are feeling very anxious in the future with fear,
Or maybe living in the past from worry,
Right?
Or maybe you're just somewhere and you can feel your nervous system beginning to come out of balance,
Beginning to move toward maybe that fight and flight.
If you're starting to feel that,
You can bring your awareness consciously and funnel it to something in your environment.
You can choose,
Maybe you're going to funnel it to something that looks red,
Or something that's cylindrical.
Just by bringing your awareness to something in your environment,
You're all of a sudden in the present moment where that worry and anxiety becomes alleviated for a minute.
And you have the opportunity then to balance your nervous system.
Again,
Intangible,
Right?
Like we're not doing anything other than basically guiding our awareness to something outside of ourselves.
You can guide your awareness through your senses one at a time.
For instance,
You could guide your awareness to what you see around you,
Like in your environment,
Like I just said.
Or you could guide your awareness to the smells within an environment.
You could guide your awareness to your skin and what it feels like in a moment.
You can guide your awareness to the taste in your mouth.
You can guide your awareness to the sounds in any one moment that you hear the vibrations in the sea of sound.
And when you do that,
Just by bringing your awareness to your senses,
You are expanding your ability to experience and express in this human life you're in right now.
I'm going to say that again.
Just by guiding your awareness to the senses every so often throughout your week,
You are expanding your ability to experience and express in this lifetime.
To me,
That's crazy amazing.
You can also bring your awareness and guide it to a memory.
You might have a key memory or a memory that makes you smile or a memory of a song,
Right?
You might have like a memory of dancing in the rain with a friend when you were younger.
That just just lifts your spirits maybe,
Right?
And if you are having a day and we all have those days,
Those days that feel crooked,
They feel a little off angle,
They're not quite right,
We don't feel quite right,
Things aren't going quite how we expect them to go,
Right?
And if you're kind of stuck in a place,
If you know what your key memory is,
Or one of your key memories,
Your favorite song,
The smell of some food that brings you back to being nurtured by your parents or grandparents,
An experience you had when you were younger,
Or even just a year ago,
Anything,
Any of those key moments,
If you guide your awareness into those key moments,
You are opening a door to changing your day.
You maybe begin to smile,
You begin to open your inner ears up to other things around you.
All of a sudden,
There's hope,
Right?
All of a sudden,
You can see how maybe one little thing could shift everything.
And it's something intangible.
All we're doing is bringing our awareness to a memory,
To a key memory.
That's all we're doing.
We're not,
You know,
Giving ourselves a physical massage or anything like that,
Right?
But what we are doing is bringing and guiding our conscious awareness to these key places in our memory.
And since I'm speaking about memory,
I might as well speak about imagination,
Because it's the same idea as in manifestation.
I'm sure you've heard so many people talk about manifestation and how important it is to feel into and imagine what you'll feel like once you manifest what you want to manifest,
Right?
That's a really big part of manifestation,
To feel,
To bring those feelings of what it feels like to have manifested it already.
That's a huge part of manifestation.
And what are we doing there?
We're imagining what it feels like to already have it,
Right?
Same with using your awareness,
Your conscious awareness.
You're putting your conscious awareness into your imagination.
So you can alter situations in your life.
You can bring in hope.
You can feel better.
You can balance your nervous system all by simply guiding your awareness into your imagination.
I find it so fascinating that by just focusing our awareness on something,
It can change.
And it's a door that we can walk through to change an entire day,
Change an entire week.
It might open us up to choices that we didn't see before.
The possibility of engaging in conscious awareness and how it can really transform our lives,
Even from the simple thing of getting a little bit more sleep,
Deepening our breath,
A little more oxygen,
Giving our body some rest when it needs it.
You don't even know how far that carries you,
Let alone really working and using your awareness and your conscious awareness and guiding it to manifest in your life,
To transform in your life.
I mean,
It's so empowering.
It's like a superpower.
It's like magic.
I love it.
We all have it.
We all have the ability to do it.
We all have the ability to use our awareness consciously in this life.
It is a superpower.
So that's my inspiration.
I would love to inspire you to use your awareness,
To guide your awareness,
To notice when you do guide your awareness,
How it shifts the physical experience,
The emotional experience,
The mental experience that you're in,
The energetic experience.
I was just,
I'll tell you a story.
I was just doing a bit of breathing with my root chakra.
In a class.
And I was having a day.
I think it was just a,
It was about two days ago and I was having a day.
I didn't really see how to fix anything that day.
And I,
I took this class,
This beautiful soul art class,
And we were working on the root chakra.
So we started with breathing in and out of the root chakra.
So all of my awareness was guided to my root chakra and I wasn't manipulating my breath.
So I wasn't deepening or slowing down my breath.
However,
With my awareness on my root chakra and my awareness on my breath,
It naturally did deepen and it naturally did slow down.
And as it did,
So all of a sudden I had this feeling of coming home.
Like I had been away on vacation from my root chakra.
And that feeling of coming home released so many tears.
Oh,
It felt so good.
But it was like the tears when you're happy,
When you feel something click into place again.
You know,
I wasn't like sobbing sad or anything.
I started to feel home again,
Feel the security and the safety of who I am and where I came from.
It was all about this meditation was about origins.
And I really felt into my origins and I really felt that home.
I'm telling you,
My eyes just began to weep,
But in a beautiful way.
And the only thing I did was bring my awareness to my root chakra.
That's all.
I was just guiding my awareness as I breathed and I didn't manipulate my breath.
I just allowed it to deepen and slow down on its own.
And I kept my awareness right there at my root chakra in and out.
And I had this humongous release.
Oh,
It just was exactly what I needed.
Who knew?
I had no idea that was what I needed.
But I'll tell you what,
When I finished that breathing,
My entire day changed.
I began to feel this confidence,
Feel the support,
Feel like I was being held.
There was no one here holding me like in physical form,
Right?
My root chakra was open and clear and I felt the roots of my origins.
And I'm still kind of flying high on that,
Actually.
I'm still flying on that.
And the only thing it's intangible because the only thing I did was bring my awareness to my root chakra along with my breath.
And I didn't manipulate my breath.
And I wasn't doing any kind of muscle anything at my root chakra.
I was just bringing my awareness there.
It's truly amazing when you begin to take in the power that we have as human beings,
As souls in these human bodies.
It is truly amazing.
So this track is about inspiration.
It's about empowerment.
I want to empower you to start once a day,
Just using your conscious awareness,
Even if it's just to relax your body or deepen your breath or balance your nervous system or open your chakra or begin to manifest something in your life,
Right?
Whatever level it's at,
Respect that awareness,
That magical awareness that we have,
That we can guide,
That we can bring consciousness to,
That we can transmute and transform with.
Always be grateful for that,
But use it.
Use it even for the simplest things.
One of the things I've been doing recently is to guide my awareness consciously to clearing my energy before bed.
And all I do is bring my awareness to whatever's going on in my head.
And as I bring my awareness,
It starts to float away like clouds.
It starts to clear,
To dissipate.
And then I go to sleep.
And oh my goodness,
My dreams,
Because I've been clearing with awareness every night,
And I've been very aware and conscious of what was going on in my head at night from my day,
My dreams have been amazing.
You know,
Just play with it.
And honestly,
I would love to hear in the comments,

To hear how you are using your conscious awareness throughout your days,
Because that can be inspiring to anyone listening to this track,

To get a sense of how other people are using their awareness,
Right?
How other people are beginning to really tap into the power of their awareness.
You know,
Sometimes we don't think of all the ways we can use it,
But other people can start to inspire us to,
Oh,
I'm going to try that.
I'm going to try that,
Right?
One last thing I'll say before I go,
Because I do do a lot of work with here on Insight Timer.
And I will say that also bringing your awareness to your conscious awareness to your senses is also not only expanding how you experience and express in this world,
But also how you take in messages from your spirit team,
How you work with the spirit realm.
You know,
Here's another thing,
Just bringing your awareness to someone who you loved,
Who has died,
Who's no longer here,
Will bring them to you.
That's that simple.
Your guided awareness,
You're guiding your conscious awareness.
To the thoughts of a loved one who is no longer here,
Brings them to your side right then and there.
And then if you bring your awareness to your energy field,
You can begin to feel their presence.
So it's just amazing.
When we begin to respect,
To practice,
To use,
To guide our conscious awareness,
It is like huge,
Beautiful doors of a cathedral open for us.
It's inspirational and empowering.
