Welcome to this guided meditation.

This guided meditation to help you get through a breakup.

If you're feeling sad or alone,

Depressed,

This will help you find some relief.

So find a place where you can meditate.

You can do this seated or lying down.

Don't overthink it,

Just find some place where you can be still.

And once you do,

Softly gently close your eyes.

And as you softly gently close your eyes,

You start to arrive.

Arriving here to the present moment.

And during this meditation,

All you have to do is breathe and listen to the sound of my voice.

That's it.

And if your mind wanders,

That's okay.

Just come back to the sound of my voice and your breathing.

Because your breath is your anchor.

And you're safe here right now,

Listening to the sound of my voice.

And there's no right or wrong way to do this meditation.

You'll get exactly what you need from this meditation.

Because you're exactly where you need to be.

So just allow yourself to be.

And allow yourself to feel these feelings.

Acknowledge these feelings.

And accept that you feel this way right now.

And knowing it's temporary,

It always is.

No matter what we're going through,

It's always temporary.

So just allow yourself to be gentle with yourself.

And breathe.

And just bring your attention and awareness to your breathing.

Nothing to do or control with your breath.

Just notice your breath.

Be the witness to your breath.

Nothing to do or control.

Just be the witness to your breathing.

Noticing your inhale and your exhale.

And now start to deepen your breath.

Deepening your inhale and deepening your exhale.

Deepening that inhale and deepening the exhale.

And find a comfortable,

Steady,

And natural breath.

Just find a comfortable,

Steady,

Natural breath for you.

Don't overthink it.

Just a nice and steady,

Natural breath.

And as you find that comfortable,

Steady,

Natural breath,

Your body starts to relax.

Your body starts to soften.

Your muscles soften.

Your jaw softens.

Shoulders soften.

Chest softens.

Stomach softens.

Hands and feet soften.

Arms and legs soften.

And those tiny muscles in your eyelids start to feel so heavy and so relaxed.

Those tiny muscles in your eyelids feel so heavy and so relaxed that it's hard to open your eyes.

But in just a moment,

You'll open your eyes and then close your eyes.

Sink in 10 times deeper than before.

Deeper relaxation than before.

Now open your eyes and close your eyes.

Sink in 10 times deeper into a more relaxed state.

And those muscles in your eyelids are 10 times heavier,

10 times more relaxed than before.

And your whole body just sinks deeper and deeper,

Feeling so relaxed.

And your muscles feel heavier now.

Heavier and heavier.

Heavier and heavier,

Yes,

As you breathe,

As you listen to the sound of my voice.

And your mind starts to relax.

Your thoughts start to relax.

And just watch your thoughts like waves forming against the shore and waves crashing against the shore.

Just watch your thoughts rolling in and rolling out,

Just like waves ebbing and flowing.

And as you watch these waves,

You realize you're here at the shore with your feet in the sand,

Looking out to this vast ocean,

The waves gently lapping at your feet.

And with each breath you take,

Feel yourself becoming more and more grounded,

More and more centered,

Rooted firmly in the present moment.

And as you gaze out into the horizon,

Visualize the emotions of your breakup as waves,

Rising and falling with the rhythm of the ocean.

Not yet,

But in just a moment,

I wonder if you can use that great imagination of yours.

And I wonder if you can imagine a boat,

A sturdy boat.

In this boat,

You'll hop on this boat,

Ready to navigate the rough waters of your emotions.

Now,

Step on this boat,

This sturdy,

Strong boat,

And feel the gentle sway of the boat beneath you.

And as the boat begins to move,

It carries you away from the shore.

And as the waves grow larger and more turbulent,

Remind yourself that you are safe and supported.

Safe and supported as you breathe,

As you listen to the sound of my voice.

And you soon see a distant island in front of you.

A beacon of stability.

And with each passing moment,

Feel yourself drawing closer and closer to this island of inner strength and resilience.

And finally the island comes into view,

Its shores lined with rugged cliffs and crashing waves.

And as you approach,

You notice a towering castle perched atop the highest cliff,

A symbol of your inner strength and fortitude.

And whenever you're ready,

Step ashore and make your way towards this castle,

Feeling the solid ground beneath you.

And with each step,

Feel yourself growing stronger and more confident,

Knowing that you have the power.

And as you get closer and closer to the castle,

You start to feel more and more secure,

More and more free,

A sense of ease.

Now,

Stand before the castle gates and push them open,

Stepping into the grand hall within.

As you look around,

You marvel at the strength and beauty of the castle walls,

Knowing that they will protect you from whatever challenges lie ahead.

And in the center of the hall,

You see a staircase,

A staircase leading up to a higher level.

And in just a moment,

You'll walk up these stairs to a higher level,

A higher level of peace,

Serenity,

And confidence.

And you'll take ten steps going up,

And each step you'll feel better and better.

Now take that first step.

You feel a sense of determination growing within you.

You leave behind the pain of the past and ascend towards a brighter future.

You are resilient and capable of overcoming any challenge that lies ahead.

Two,

Imagine yourself growing stronger and more grounded.

Feel the stone beneath your feet supporting you,

Anchoring you in the present moment.

You possess the strength to weather any storm,

Standing tall and unwavering in the face of adversity.

Take that third step,

Visualizing a warm light glowing at the top of the staircase.

This light represents your inner confidence shining brightly as you embrace your journey of self-discovery and growth.

Take that fourth step,

Stepping closer to the light.

Affirm yourself,

Your worthiness and value.

You are deserving of love and happiness,

And the challenges of the past do not define you.

You radiate confidence and self-assurance with every move you make.

Five,

Halfway there,

Feeling a sense of peace and serenity washing over you as you ascend higher and higher,

Letting go of any lingering doubts or fears,

Releasing them into the ether as you step into the fullness of your own power and potential.

And take that sixth step,

Envision yourself shedding the weight of the past,

Freeing yourself from the burdens of heartache and regret.

Taking that seventh step,

Pause to reflect on how far you've come.

Acknowledge your resilience and strength,

Knowing that you have the fortitude to overcome any obstacle that crosses your path.

Take that eighth step,

Feel a surge of energy propelling you forward.

You are unstoppable,

Fueled by the fire of your own inner strength and determination.

And nine,

As you near the top of the staircase,

Visualize yourself stepping into the light with confidence and grace.

You are a beacon of resilience and strength,

Illuminating the path forward for yourself and others who may follow in your footsteps.

And ten,

Embrace this radiant light.

You are whole,

Empowered,

And ready to embrace all the beauty and possibility that life has to offer.

And as you walk forward,

You see a room.

And in this room is your higher self,

Your future self.

And you find yourself face to face with your future self,

A vision of confidence and resilience.

And your future self reaches out and hands you a written note,

A message of wisdom and guidance for the journey ahead.

Now take a moment to read the note,

Absorbing its words of encouragement and insight.

What does it say?

Allow the message to sink in,

Knowing that you carry the wisdom of your future within you.

Feel the sense of clarity and purpose wash over you.

You are ready to embrace the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead,

Knowing that you have the strength and resilience to overcome whatever obstacles may come your way.

And now take a deep breath in,

Feeling a renewed sense of energy and determination coursing through your veins.

And as you exhale,

Feel yourself returning to the present moment,

Carrying with you the strength and wisdom of your future self.

And when you're ready,

Slowly open your eyes,

Feeling refreshed,

Empowered,

And ready to embrace the journey ahead.
