Please close your eyes now my beautiful dreamer and gently begin to let the outside world fade away just for a little while.

Not to escape reality but to step into the place inside yourself where reality is processed,

Shaped and transformed.

Let your attention turn inward now,

Away from screens,

Away from the noise,

Away from the endless pull of the world.

Dive inside yourself using nothing but your breath.

On your inhales gather up any noise inside you.

On your exhales sigh it all out of your mouth.

Let your breathing carry you deeper and deeper into yourself now.

Welcome to your inner world.

The place where you feel before you think.

The place that knows.

The place that connects you to everything.

Right now we're living in a constant stream of stimulation,

Headlines,

Fear,

Conflict,

Politics.

Even when you're not paying attention your nervous system knows it's there like a siren in the distance that never quite switches off.

So if you've been feeling heavy or numb or depressed or anxious or fearful or overwhelmed it makes sense.

It makes sense if your heart feels bruised by humanity.

It makes sense if hope has felt fragile.

And I want you to know something important.

You being here right now is brave because you're choosing to return to yourself.

You're choosing to place your attention somewhere different.

You're choosing hope no matter what.

Now using your beautiful and powerful imagination I'd like you to find yourself standing at the edge of a forest that lives inside your inner world.

This is not a fairy tale forest.

It's dark,

Old and scarred.

The trees are tall,

Blocking out the light.

Their branches twist like clenched hands.

Some trunks are burned as if something painful once moved through here.

The air is damp.

The ground is cold.

And as you take your first steps inside you feel the energy shift.

It's not pitch black but it almost is.

A heavy dimness that makes your body alert.

Roots snake across your path.

Wet leaves cling to your shoes.

Somewhere deep in the forest you hear a sound,

A branch,

A movement.

Something that could be nothing but still tightens your stomach.

This feeling you're having right now is the vibration of the world right now.

This forest holds what so many people are carrying.

Exhaustion.

Division.

Fear.

The sense that things are not safe or stable.

But what if this darkness is not the end?

What if this is the point where humanity finally wakes up?

We heal the world by healing ourselves.

That's the truth and that's why you're here with me now.

This forest is not showing you who you are.

It's showing you how the outside world lives inside the body when we're not conscious of it.

But today you're going to choose something different.

Not because everything is suddenly okay in the world.

But because something inside you refuses to go numb.

You remember what it feels like to be alive.

Not fearing,

Not worrying,

Not bracing,

But just here.

You remember what it is to believe,

Not in fairy tales,

But in possibility.

In movement,

In the idea that things can still change.

Remember how you arrived in this world.

Wide,

Open,

Curious,

Trusting life before you learned to fear it.

That part of you never disappeared in all the noise of the world.

It simply learned to wait.

Your soul's been waiting patiently,

Living in your imagination,

In your longings.

In your quiet pull towards something more honest,

Healed and real.

That sensation,

A subtle sensation you might be feeling right now,

The very soft stirring inside yourself is your soul reminding you it's still here.

And as you listen in this dark,

Cold,

Damp forest,

Up ahead you notice a faint light,

Not blinding,

Just enough.

You keep walking towards it and notice how the trees begin to thin.

The air begins to soften.

Each step feels a little easier.

And then you move through the last of the forest and you find yourself standing in a wide,

Open field,

Near the edge of a cliff,

With space stretching out in every direction.

You feel the space everywhere.

Your lungs expand without effort.

And for the first time in a long time you realize how much you've been holding your breath.

Above you the sky opens wide.

A vast sunset spills colour across everything you see.

Birds glide through the air with ease,

Free because they were never meant to fight the sky.

Now step gently towards the edge of the cliff and look down and see far below you is the old world.

The world of survival mode,

Where nervous systems live braced and tight,

Where fear drives decisions before wisdom ever gets a chance to speak.

The world of constant reaction,

Constant noise,

Constant urgency.

A world where people are taught to stay alert,

Stay defended,

Stay small.

Where pain gets passed on because no one ever learned how to feel it safely.

This is the world where hurt people hurt people.

Not because they're bad,

But because they're overwhelmed,

Frightened and disconnected from themselves.

We all are.

Take a moment to really see it without judgement and without being pulled into it.

And now gently lift your gaze back up,

Back to the horizon,

Back to the wide open sky and see your future there.

Not as a fantasy,

Not as wishful thinking,

But as creating direction.

See what you are already moving toward.

A life where your nervous system feels safe so much more often than it feels braced.

A life where you can rest inside yourself without guilt.

A life where your body is no longer a battlefield,

But a place you actually want to live in.

See a life where you feel present in your own skin,

Where you stop abandoning yourself just to get through the day,

Where you don't have to numb,

Distract or harden in order to survive.

See your loved ones there too.

See them in the future on the horizon,

See them safe,

See them laughing,

See the tension soften in their faces,

See them finding their way through whatever they're dealing with.

And now widen the picture.

Widen the potential of the future in that horizon now by seeing the world.

Communities reconnecting,

People remembering the importance of loving each other.

Humanity remembering its own soul.

A planet treated with reverence instead of entitlement,

Cared for as if it were part of our own body.

Because Mother Earth is part of us.

Hold this horizon for a few quiet moments and let it settle deep inside you.

And as you do,

Feel a sensation begin to stir between your shoulder blades.

A subtle tingling,

A soft awakening.

Become aware of wings resting on your back,

Strong and real.

Your potential folded and waiting.

You are not alone here.

Notice now how others stand beside you.

Different people living different lives,

Listening to this audio healing journey at the exact same time as you.

Different skin,

Different bodies,

But the same essence beneath it all.

Soul.

Life force.

Part of everything.

And because each of us are part of everything,

The choices we make matter to everything.

So choose hope now.

Feel it as a felt decision inside your body and feel your wings begin to unfurl.

Slowly,

Naturally,

Powerfully.

Feel their weight as they open.

Feel the span of them extending behind you,

Wider than you expected,

Stronger than you realised.

Feel the power of hope in you.

And now step forward.

And when you're ready,

Fly.

Fly.

Fly.

Allow yourself to glide.

And as you do,

Allow everything inside you to start reorganising itself.

Your nervous system begins to learn a new way of being.

No longer braced for the next impact.

Not scanning constantly for danger or tightening in anticipation.

Feel there is more space now,

More movement,

More trust.

Freedom moving through you like the sweetest relief.

This is what it feels like when your body knows it's safe enough to open.

You were never designed to live in constant fear.

You were never meant to stay contracted,

Guarded or shut down.

You were designed to feel.

To create,

To choose,

To grow,

To evolve.

And right now,

You are doing exactly that.

Take a moment here in this wide,

Open sky,

Flying,

Gliding,

Connected to the horizon that you are flying towards.

And from this place,

Make a vow to yourself.

A vow to never give up on hope,

Even when it feels fragile.

A vow to stay connected to yourself when the world gets loud.

A vow to witness what's happening around you without letting it take over your inner world.

A vow to remember that what you heal in yourself changes everything.

The changes you make inside yourself ripple out whether you see them or not.

Let that vow settle into your body,

Into your cells,

Into the rhythm of your breath.

As you feel yourself easing back into the here and now,

Into your physical body and the space around you.

Bring the horizon with you,

Let it live inside you.

Carry the hope as your new orientation.

And when you're ready,

Slowly and gently open your eyes and know that you return not as someone new,

But as someone more hopeful and more connected and more aware and more alive.

An upgraded version of yourself moving through the same world,

But meeting it from a different place.

Thank you for taking this journey with me.

Thank you for your willingness to find hope amongst the chaos.
