You don't have to pretend that everything is okay.
You don't have to put on a brave face here.
In this space you get to be 100% yourself.
I'm going to repeat that because you probably don't get to hear it very often.

If your eyes aren't closed then I invite you to close them now and to begin this journey we are simply going to breathe together.
We're going to take a deep breath in through the nose,
Hold the breath for a moment and then let everything go with a long deep sigh out the mouth.
Deep breath in through the nose,
Gathering up all fear of being judged.
Hold the breath and then sigh it all out.
Let all fear of judgment go and again deep breath in through the nose,
Gathering up the need to wear a brave face.
Hold the breath and sigh it all out,
Allowing all masks to disappear so you can be fully you.
And one more time,
Deep breath in through the nose,
Gathering up all pressure to be something that you're not.
Hold the breath and then sigh it all out.
Release all of it,
Leaving a wide open space inside yourself for you to be fully you.
And just return to your normal breath now,
Following your breath as it fills your body with air and following your breath as it leaves and just be here,
Feeling whatever you're feeling,
With things on your mind,
With pain in your heart,
With discomfort in your body,
Wherever you are on this journey of life just let yourself be there.
No pressure,
No judgment,
Just acceptance of all that is.
Acceptance of all of you,
Every single part of you.
Every single part of you is exactly the way it's supposed to be in this very moment.
You don't need to try harder here,
You don't need to do more or be more,
So please just give yourself permission to be a little bit broken or tired or weak or numb.
Just give yourself permission to be.
We never give ourselves permission to be exactly the way we are,
But giving yourself that permission gives your soul and every fiber of your being some space to breathe,
To learn,
To grow and to heal.
So give yourself the breathing space to do those things right now.
All you have to do is listen to the statements I'm about to make.
Statements about you and after each statement I'd like you to repeat it to yourself,
Either out loud or in your head.
And remember there are no right or wrong ways of doing this.
All you have to do is soak in the words I'm about to say and believe them.
Trust that every word I say is the truth.
This is your truth and you deserve to hear it.
So just absorb my words fully and then say them to yourself with conviction.
Even if you don't mean it,
Just say the words anyway,
Either out loud or in your head.
I am allowed to feel whatever I am feeling.
I am allowed to not be okay all the time.
I don't have to be good enough for anyone else.
I am more than enough for myself.
I have the power to create the version of myself that I long to be.
I'm allowed to take as much time as I need to heal my broken parts.
I can be gentle and caring and compassionate to myself.
I'm allowed to feel sad or lonely or afraid.
I am worthy of a peaceful and beautiful life no matter what happened before this moment.
I can change my mind about myself,
About the way I feel about myself and my life.
I can take as much time as I need.
I'm allowed to make mistakes as long as I learn from them.
I let go of the past.
I surrender the future so I can fully immerse myself in this present moment.
Everything is going to be okay.

I allow myself to be exactly where I am.
I will be patient and understanding with myself.
I allow myself to heal in my own time.
I release all pressure of judgment towards myself.
From now on,
On this journey of life,
Choose to be kinder to yourself.
If you hear the inner critic saying anything that hurts you or puts you down,
Any judgment or pressure,
Choose to let it go and put your hands on your heart as a signal to yourself that you honour yourself.
Wherever you might be on your healing journey,
Put your hands on your heart now.
Slow down your breathing.
Relax your body and nurture yourself.
Connect to yourself.
