Namaste.

I'm Rosalie and welcome to this short meditation to tap into a sense of deep calm and peace.

Wherever you are standing or sitting,

Find a comfortable shape and close your eyes.

Make sure your feet are planted firmly into the earth beneath you.

Now take a big inhale through the nose.

Exhale through the mouth.

And again.

One more big inhale.

Let it all go.

Softening the whole body.

Tension draining from the forehead,

The eyes,

The jaw,

Your shoulders melting down.

Allowing any tension to flow downwards and out through the soles of your feet.

Deep into the earth.

Just notice the natural flow of the breath in the body.

With every inhale,

Might you imagine breathing in a sense of deep calm and peace.

You might like to see this as a colour,

Perhaps a mist of white or light blue.

Breathing in,

Drinking in a sense of deep calm and peace.

With every exhale,

Allow any tension to drain from the body,

Flowing out through the soles of your feet deep into the earth.

Perhaps seeing this as a deep grey or black,

Whatever feels right for you,

Continue like this for a few more rounds.

Trillions of cells humming,

Buzzing with a sense of calm and peace.

Exhale trillions of cells releasing any stress or tension.

From this space,

Might you repeat this affirmation to yourself,

I choose calm and peace.

As you say this,

Feel it through your whole being.

Every cell in every part of your body,

Brimming with a sense of deep calm and peace.

I choose calm and peace.

As you tap into this feeling within,

See if you can radiate it outwards so you're completely encircled in a big bubble of calm and peace.

And might you set an intention to allow any of these good feelings that you've tapped into to follow you into the rest of your day.

And if you find yourself getting anxious for whatever reason,

Remember your affirmation,

I choose calm and peace.

Thank you so much for practicing with me today.

Have an amazing day.

Namaste.

I felt quite anxious before starting this meditation. I'm recovering from a concussion, and my nervous system is relearning how to stay calm. The affirmation "I choose calm and peace" really resonated with me today.
