Over the next 5 days, you will experience a range of holistic and scientifically proven healing modalities to help you regulate your nervous system. If you find it challenging to support yourself sometimes when you feel stressed, anxious, or overwhelmed, this course can support you. Over the 5 days, you will be introduced to resources to support you including yoga nidra practices, the importance of pandiculation, vagus nerve support, breath work, and mindful journaling prompts.
Olivia was welcomed to yoga and mindfulness practices when she started working in car sales in her early 20s. The long hours and demanding output from the job lead her to experience feelings of anxiety and stress. This lead her to understanding the importance of the mind and body connection including body movement combined with the breath, moments of silence, vagus nerve support and present moment awareness.
With her yoga teacher training and her studies within mindfulness, she will guide you through a 5 day course giving you practical resources to apply in your day to day life in times of stress and anxiety....

Yoga Nidra
During day 1, you will learn about the nervous system's function and role, the emotional states that we can experience, and the power of yoga nidra. The lesson will close with a stress-relieving yoga nidra practice.

Pandiculation
In today's lesson, we will be focusing on an interesting concept called pandiculation meaning ‘to stretch oneself’. This is an important aspect as it helps us to maintain a healthy and steady posture throughout our lives whilst also supporting our nervous systems.

Vagus Nerve ~ Deep Breathing
Today we will be focusing on the vagus nerve through deep breathing exercises. Supporting the vagus nerve can help to activate the parasympathetic nervous system and help us relax quicker after moments of stress and anxiety.

Vagus Nerve - Spinal Work
The vagus nerve (which supports our wellbeing), originates in the brain and flows down the spinal cord. In today's lesson, you will experience four powerful yoga poses to assist in maintaining a healthy and aligned spine, to support the vagus nerve's role in the body.

Mindful Journal Prompts
In our final lesson today, you will experience a body-based visualization practice. Afterward, you will be guided through some mindful journal prompts that are known to scientifically assist with our wellbeing followed by some reflection questions to finish the course.
