Les 1
Practicing Visual Focus
This class takes the student on a deeply relaxing "journey" within a singular point of focus, and invites them into an even more expanded practice of three-dimensional sight. Listeners are gently guided to the brink of sleep, to the state known commonly as yogic sleep, or hypnogogic awareness, just between asleep and awake. In this way, the practice helps prepare one to remain lucid while entering the sleep state.
Les 2
Focusing With Sound And Vibration
In this class, the student is guided through audible prompts like nature sounds and a ticking clock to help relax the body and focus the mind for an extended period of time. It's close includes a few breaths of singing bowls, whereupon the listener is invited to begin to listen more fully into the layers and spaces within the sound. This is a helpful practice when it's important to hold our focus for longer periods of time.
Les 3
Focusing With Feeling
The class portion of this practice was recorded upon waking, thus the pace and tone are different from the previous two classes. However, just past the first minute of shifting / silent yawns, there is a somewhat palpable intensity of feeling that comes through in this original recording that is preserved. It will take the student through the extremes of emotions that can sometimes jar us out of our experience of expanded awareness, to help us practice maintaining our present lucidity through emotional extremes.
Lastly, it too concludes with a waking lullaby to conclude our time together in practice, and to honor the wonder of what's possible within the next greater expanse of awareness.
