In this course you will begin to master essential techniques for becoming resilient to your emotional triggers. As you move through these five lessons with Ed, you will first learn how to balance your emotions when the trigger hits. Then you will learn how to let go of the belief systems that support your triggers as well as how to release the physical deposits of stress in your body that make your negative thoughts so hard to give up. From Lesson 2 to 5 you will learn how to permanently release the trigger response. In this way, your memories or daily moments will no longer trigger your emotions and you’re left with the choice of how you want to respond to the people, events, and circumstances in your life.


Meet your Teacher

Ed Fox is the founder of the MindBody Awakening curriculum, speaker, meditation teacher, and stress and trauma coach who has touched the lives of thousands of people searching for emotional and spiritual freedom. When Ed was 21 he had a radical spiritual awakening and was encouraged by his teacher, Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, to share meditation world wide. He went on to study with Don Miguel Ruiz to learn the Toltec traditions of letting go of the dream of negative beliefs and went on to incorporate meditation with relief from stress, anxiety, and ptsd. With over 40 years of teaching experience Ed has cultivated a program where he connects the essential energy of our pure being, ancient meditation traditions, and mindfulness, to create a safe and supportive atmosphere for learning how to empower oneself and thrive in a complex world. At the core of Ed's teaching is the idea that we don’t need to accumulate knowledge to be happy and fulfilled. All the resources that we need is already within us waiting to be released. We only need to know how to create the unique environment that uncovers not only inner being but also our natural ability to heal ourselves.

Lesson 1

What To Do First

In this lesson you will learn what to do immediately after being emotionally triggered and how to restore some calm and presence in that moment, when you need it the most. This lesson is devoted to powerful breathing exercises that when accompanied with the mindfulness techniques in the later lessons, will help you to reach lasting freedom from those emotionally triggers that have plague you for your entire life.

Lesson 2

The Components Of Emotional Triggers

Unknown to most people, there are some hidden components to emotional triggers and when we are aware of them and address them it can makes the difference between "coping" and "healing." In this lesson you will learn what these components are and how they interact with each other so you can dismantle them and begin the healing process.

Lesson 3

The Dynamics Of The Emotional Triggers

In this lesson you will understand the important dynamics of how and why your emotional triggers occur and why they are so tenacious or difficult to heal. This understanding allows us to finally see what is going on within the trigger mechanism and have the knowledge of what is needed to finally heal and restore our balance. This lesson prepares you for doing the Mind Body Release Technique in the next lesson.

Lesson 4

The Mind Body Release Technique

In the Mind Body Release Technique you will awaken the components of an emotional trigger or an old wound. At this time, the natural healing tendency of the mind and body begin to do what they do best, and the healing of the components of your wound and triggers begin. As the components are healed, the triggers disappear. You begin to realize that your emotional triggers are just a manifestation of it's components. In this lesson I will take you through the technique so that you can do this on your own.

Lesson 5

Creating A Protocol For Healing Your Emotional Triggers

In this lesson you will learn how to create a long term protocol that will allow you to stay focused on everything you have learned in this course. With a easy protocol to follow, you will learn how to change the old mindset that emotional triggers are uncontrollable and out of reach. As you continue the MindBody Technique practice you will notice incremental benefits, over time, that will reward you with the freedom that you desire.

A course for action that builds on healing through the mind, emotions and body. As I am learning these parts are connected yet on a daily basis I get caught in one loop, say the mind/thoughts for instance, which are just beliefs but not reality. And I can't just do one thing to heal. Years of therapy, studying the mind and emotions have kept me in chains. I have been missing the bodies response to trauma, giving more power to my mind. That is not helpful. And maybe I can decrease my therapy costs by learning about somatic responses, no judgement, allow, and hopefully connected the frayed threads and strengthen. A could sound course. Thank you.
