Transcript

Hi everyone,

Welcome back,

It's Ed,

And in this meditation I'm going to lead you into experiencing the pure awareness that you are.

The awareness that one goes,

Shall I say,

After one tries to reach,

Discover the inner awareness of who we are,

The richness,

The infinite quantum feel that we are,

The infinite love,

Intelligence,

Creativity,

Patience that we are.

And when we reach that in meditation and bring it out into our day,

We begin to accumulate this awareness and make it more and more available to us.

Available to us during the day means that we become aware of consciousness along with our daily activities.

And in doing so,

We actually create a greater identity of who we are.

By not just the mind and the body,

So that when things don't go well in the world,

When the impermanent world disappoints or isn't there for us,

We have this richness,

This reservoir of identity,

Unbounded infinite identity to soothe us and identify with so that we know the ups and downs of the world is not and does not mean that there's something wrong with us,

That we are less than or greater than.

We begin to see our life in a perspective of awareness,

A balancing of awareness so that we're not triggered by the world.

We're still involved in the world.

We're still active in the world.

We don't lose interest in the world.

But we now have this new immense greater identification that allows us to not only live in a world of beauty,

Love,

Abundance,

But also live in what we find ourselves now in current politics,

Economics,

COVID,

That we can live fully and find joy,

Even with all the uncertainty that exists in the world.

So let's begin.

Let's just sit comfortably and close our eyes.

Bring our feet on the floor,

Hands in our lap so we're comfortable and our body is supported.

Now if you have a meditation practice,

Go ahead and do that.

If you don't,

Just put your attention on your breath.

I'll lead you into a breath meditation.

And then just take a nice deep breath,

Filling your lungs completely,

But comfortably breathing in through the nose and out through the mouth.

Good.

One more.

Breathing in through the nose and out through the mouth.

Then just return to your normal breathing pattern and notice how your body adjusts to your breathing.

Feel how wonderful it is to breathe.

Allow yourself to go,

As I say,

Within,

Which is just a term,

Which is to mean to get quiet.

Notice the thoughts and the spaces between your thoughts.

And be mindful that your thoughts are part of your meditation,

But that you shouldn't believe them or actually focus all of your attention on them.

Without fighting your thoughts,

Bring your attention back to your breath.

Bring your attention back to your practice,

To your mantra or to whatever your meditation practice is.

Good.

Good.

And as you go within,

Notice awareness,

Notice your awareness of your breath,

Of your mantra,

Of your practice.

Notice the awareness that you have,

Watching the space between your thoughts.

Realize that this awareness is your true nature.

Ask yourself who is aware right now.

You will sense this awareness and just allow yourself to embrace and feel this awareness.

Thoughts are still going to come and go.

They're no hindrance.

Don't judge them.

Don't use effort to push them away.

Just come back to your mantra.

Come back to the awareness.

Good.

Now,

I'd like you to put your attention on the space right outside of your body.

And you can feel the space outside of your body in the room between you and the wall or the dresser or the door.

Knowing that awareness is everywhere.

Feel the awareness around your physical body.

I'm going to give you a few minutes to do that.

Good.

It's a very subtle awareness,

Is it not?

So I'd like you to imagine now that as you feel this awareness outside of your body,

What you notice is that you,

Your identity is growing and growing.

And it's covering the space outside your body.

It's filling the room.

Allow it to do so.

This is a feeling,

Imagining experience as it gets stronger and stronger.

Good.

Now you're growing even more.

You're filling the whole house.

You're getting bigger.

Very subtle sense of you.

Now hovering over your house,

Your apartment house,

Wherever you're living.

You just feel,

Imagine the sense of being bigger than your body,

Than the house.

And you begin to move up into the sky and you're covering your city,

Your state,

Wherever you are,

Your continent.

You can almost begin to see the rounding of the globe as you look at this big,

Beautiful blue planet earth alive and blue.

And this is awareness,

Which is you,

Your identity as we see it,

Know it,

Stay here for a while.

I am awareness.

I am the awareness in me.

I am the awareness outside of me.

I can be as big as I want to be.

I can be as small as I want to be,

But whether I'm big or I'm small,

I am awareness.

Good.

Now,

If this awareness becomes feelings or sensations,

Honor them,

But come back to the pure awareness that you are.

That's the goal of this meditation.

Great.

And just continue.

Good.

Okay,

So now what I'd like you to do is to come back a little bit.

Come on down.

Come on down to earth.

Come on down to where?

Into the atmosphere.

Come back down to where your house is.

Come back down,

Hover over your house and come on down into your apartment,

Your room above where you are sitting,

Meditating with me.

You can see yourself.

Imagine this.

You're now just as big as the room and now just come back to your body and feel your body slowly,

Easily wiggle your toes,

Move your arms.

Yeah.

Good.

I don't want you to open your eyes very quickly.

I want you to make sure you're back in your body.

So stretch,

Move your shoulders.

You could rub your hands together and cover your eyes to add such delicious warmth to your eyes and your head.

And then when you feel that you're completely in your body,

You can slowly open your eyes.

It's important that we take our time coming back because we can be very unprepared and try to stand up and get dizzy or coming back into the body slowly.

Wonderful.

Good.

While we were meditating,

My,

My lights,

My video lights died.

I see that as a good sign.

Good energy guys.

You guys are so powerful.

You burnt out my video lights.

I love it.

So come back.

Yes.

So this is an experience of who you really are.

And although we can't have this a hundred percent of the time now,

Or maybe you do just know that if you follow a regular practice,

You will get there.
