Lesson 1

The Awareness Gateway

Like sunglasses you forgot you were wearing, your attention is always filtering your experience. In this foundational lesson, you'll explore awareness itself, the subtle yet powerful ability to observe what's happening within and around you. With gentle guidance and a practical metaphor, you'll learn how becoming the observer helps you reconnect deeply with both your body and mind.

Lesson 2

Ground Into The Body: Sensation As Anchor

Your body is always in the present. This lesson helps you shift from thinking about the body to actually sensing it. You’ll explore what it means to "listen" to the body, how to identify sensation without judgment, and how to use physical awareness as a way back to now. Includes a gentle guided practice to anchor these teachings in your direct experience.

Lesson 3

Observe The Mind: Patterns Without Pull

Yoga teaches that mental clarity arises when you witness thoughts without attachment. In this lesson, you’ll practice observing mental habits and inner stories without getting drawn into them. By gently cultivating neutral observation, you’ll experience greater mental spaciousness and calm. You create more space between the thoughts!

Lesson 4

The Dance Between Body And Mind

Yoga philosophy recognizes the intimate interplay between body and mind, each continuously shaping the other. A tight body can trigger anxious thoughts, while a peaceful breath can calm a racing mind. In this lesson, you'll explore how to gently recognize and shift this inner dialogue. By becoming aware of these feedback loops, you can improve your emotional regulation, clarity, and presence in daily life.

Lesson 5

React Or Respond: Transforming Everyday Reactions

A spoon falls. Plans change. Someone says something sharp. What happens in you in that instant? Yoga invites us to pause, observe, and choose our response rather than act on impulse. In this lesson, you'll explore everyday reactivity and how to soften it. By learning to recognize your nervous system’s cues and apply breath and awareness, you’ll begin transforming reactions into conscious responses, one moment at a time.

Lesson 6

Labels, Expectations, And The Stories We Tell Ourselves

We often don’t react to what is, but to the label we’ve placed on it. In this lesson, you’ll explore how quickly we judge moments, people, and emotions as “good,” "bad", "wrong", or "disappointing", often based on hidden expectations or unconscious stories. These internal labels shape how we feel and behave. With awareness and breath, we can begin to soften these reactions and meet life more openly, without distorting it through past conditioning or false narratives.

Lesson 7

Bringing It All Together : A Full Body Mind Experience

Yoga is not just a practice, it’s a way of living in harmony with body, mind, and awareness. In this final session, we integrate everything explored in the course through a deeply restorative guided experience. You’ll revisit awareness, sensation, thought, and reactivity. This time as a unified field of presence. Through a Yoga Nidra-inspired practice, you’ll rest into your natural state of wholeness, embodying the body-mind connection not as a theory, but as a felt reality.

Content was really good. Good short sessions. I did journal with each session. SIt would have been lovely to have had a longer Yoga Nidra session at the end, to pull all learning into a fuller practice. Namaste 🙏🏼
