Moving Meditations For Focus, Motivation, & Magic

With Wenlin Tan

Moving meditations encompass various practices that combine movement with mindfulness, such as Qigong, Yoga stretches, shaking meditation, self-massage, and even painting meditations. In this course, you'll discover the power of these dynamic mindfulness practices and how these practices can connect you with the power of the Creative Cycle. The creative cycle is a process that underpins all transactions and processes in life, from how projects unfold, to the menstrual cycle, to the shifting seasons within a year and changing energies of a day, to your life cycle as a human. There are Five Phases in the Creative Cycle, which correspond to the Five Elements, which is rooted in Chinese Medicine philosophy. You’ll learn what moving meditations are, how they can help you cultivate mindfulness, clarity and flow and you’ll be guided through five simple yet powerful practices - a wood element painting meditation, a fire element shaking meditation, an earth element moving meditation and stretch, a metal element Qigong moving and a water element kidney massage and self-acupressure practice to harness the power of moving meditation. If you struggle with sitting still during traditional meditation, these practices are perfect for you. This course will provide you with practical tools and tips to help you cultivate clarity, calm and a feeling of balance and ease, and will transform how you feel mentally, physically and emotionally and spiritually.
