Are you struggling to get a good night's sleep? This program has been designed to help you rest deeply and wake up refreshed, ready for the day. Whether you can't get to sleep, wake-up during the night, or hit the snooze button too many times to count, this program will help you understand, target and overcome your sleep issues. It is a comprehensive and practical training, ensuring you can easily apply all that you learn and experience right away. I will guide you through essential, proven practices that naturally ease you into a sound, restful sleep. Each session includes special breathing techniques, meditations, gentle movement and restorative yoga. These practices are easy to follow as I demonstrate each step, discuss the benefits, and give you options for adapting to your comfort and needs. In this training I will guide you through five, 20 minute practices. Each session targets a common sleep issue. You can follow the program sequentially, or skip to the session with the sleep issue you are experiencing. You will learn many different practices throughout this training, some you will love and want to continue on your own, others you will want to leave behind. This is the intention of the program- to help you discover, amongst all these amazing practices, which ones work best for you. Day 1: "I can't get to sleep because my mind is racing" Discover how to quiet your mind and relax deeply. Includes the powerful 4-square breathing and divinely relaxing Legs Up the Wall Day 2- " My body is so tense, I feel restless" Learn how to release stress and tension in your body. Includes the popular guided tense and release practice, plus special relaxation breath technique Day 3- "I'm feeling upset, anxious and can't sleep" Cultivate an inner calm and ease. Includes the beautiful heart-centered breathing and calming, restful child's pose Day 4- "I can't seem to settle, I toss and turn all night" Learn how to feel grounded and centered, connect to your inner wisdom. Includes a personal centering meditation, a practice to strengthen your intuition and a restful relaxation pose. Day 5- "I don't know why but I just can't sleep!" Experience the most profoundly effective relaxation method for ultimate deep rest and well-being. I am excited to share these practices that have helped so many of my clients, students, (and myself!), go from long nights of tossing, turning and staring at the ceiling, to nights of blissfully deep rest. Meet your Teacher

My passion for health and well-being began in competitive sport. As a high performance athlete and master coach for over 20 years, I learnt first-hand the rewards of training the body and mind. My yoga journey began when after a back injury, I sought out yoga and meditation for healing. I was amazed at how quickly my health improved and I felt strong and healthy again. I wanted to share these practices that helped me reclaim my life, and devoted my personal time to practicing and teaching yoga. Life then threw me another curve ball- I was hit by a car. In the face broken bones and PTSD, I turned to what had helped before, yoga and meditation. I was deeply grateful to discover that yoga met me in my place of greatest need, in my darkest times. The practices have guided me to a deeper connection and understanding of myself helping me find peace within the trauma, ease within persistent pain, and even in the midst life's struggles, an awareness to the preciousness and beauty of life. The experience of profound healing was so powerfully transformative, I now devote my time to sharing all that I have been blessed to learn and come to undestand through my journey. I am grateful and honoured to have been teaching for almost 3 decades, and thrilled to meet and teach so many incredible people around the world!

Lesson 1

Quiet Mind

This 20 minute session clears and quiets the mind, deeply relaxes the body. Today's guided practices include: 1. Palming, 2. Square Breathing, 3. Circle Breathing, 4. Blue Sky Meditation, 5. Legs Up Relaxation. Please have on hand: a pillow, a few blankets, an eye covering, (a small hand towel will work), something to put your legs up on, for example a chair, a few large pillows, the side of the couch. This session may be done on a yoga mat, or if you prefer, on your bed for extra comfort and ease.

Lesson 2

Release Physical Stress and Tension

Day 2 - Release Physical Stress and Tension. This 20 minute session releases stress and tension in the body, so you can relax deeply. Today's guided practices include: 1. Palming, 2. Belly Breathing 3. Tense & Release, 4. Spacious Body Meditation, 5. Reclined Relaxation. Please have on hand: a pillow, a few blankets, an eye covering, (a small hand towel will work). This session may be done on a yoga mat, or if you prefer, on your bed for extra comfort and ease.

Inner Calm

This 20 minute session focuses on cultivating inner calm, releasing tension through your body and relaxing deeply. Today's guided practices include: 1. Palming, 2. Belly Breathing, 3. Heart Breathing 4. Mantra Breathing, 5. Loving Kindness Meditation, 6. Child’s Pose Relaxation, 7. Heart Opening Relaxation. Please have on hand: a pillow, a few blankets, an eye covering (a small hand towel will work). This session may be done on a yoga mat, or if you prefer, on your bed for extra comfort and ease.

Ground and Centre

This 20 minute session focuses on grounding, centering and awakening inner wisdom, intuition. Today's guided practices include: 1. Palming, 2. Belly Breathing, 3. Centering Meditation, 4. Hip Opening Relaxation. Please have on hand: a pillow, a few blankets, an eye covering, (a small hand towel will work). This session may be done on a yoga mat, or if you prefer, on your bed for extra comfort and ease.

Ultimate Deep Rest and Well-Being

In this 20 minute session you will experience the most profoundly effective relaxation method for optimal deep rest and well-being. Today's guided practices include: 1. Palming, 2. Belly Breathing, 3. Centering Meditation, 4. Yoga Nidra meditation, 5. Shavasana Relaxation. Please have on hand: a pillow, a few blankets, an eye covering (a small hand towel will work).
