What are the sensations and energy in your body right now?
Do you feel hunger in your stomach area?
Do you feel an emotion in your heart area,
In your chest?
For a moment,
Stand and move your body.
Notice how it feels,
Your feet on the ground.
Notice the texture on the soles of your feet.
Maybe you're outside on the grass.
Maybe you're indoors on a wood floor or a soft carpet.
From your soles of your feet,
Bring your awareness up through your legs,
Through your strong thigh muscles,
To your pelvic floor,
Hip joints,
And then up into the sensations of the gut.
Bring to mind this food you're thinking about and check with your gut.
Notice the color,
The smells,
The aroma of the food.
What is your response in your stomach area,
In your gut?
Bring your awareness up into your heart area and again visualize the food.
Imagine the texture,
The feeling of the food on your tongue into your throat.
The sensation of a warm soup,
The coolness of ice cream.
Some foods are warm,
Some are colder or cool,
Some are smooth,
Some have a lot of texture.
When you imagine eating this food,
What is the response in your heart area?
Then bring your awareness up further into your mouth,
Your throat,
And into your nose,
Your sense of smell,
And into your head,
Your logical thinking mind.
As you think about eating this food,
What are the thoughts in your mind?
If you were to say,
This food is nutritious and beneficial,
What is your response in your thinking mind,
Your heart,
Your stomach,
Your whole body?
