Di Patrick Kozakiewicz

Inizia il Giorno 1
Cosa imparerai
This is the final part of Introducing Mindfulness, where we explore the differences between reactivity and responding. We explore the two, discover what is in our control and out of our control and learn the responsive breathing space to become more familiar with the space.
Patrick Kozakiewicz is trained, certified, and supervised to teach this course alongside the family of other Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy courses. Over the years, he has taught this Introducing Mindfulness course over 120 times to a total audience of 3000+ while receiving very positive reviews and improvements in key areas around well-being...

Lezione 1
Welcoming And Bridging
We start with a brief settling practice to anchor our attention to here and now, before we move into a bridge to the previous parts of introducing mindfulness. In other words a short practice followed by a summary.
Lezione 2
Responding Vs. Reacting
Here we explore the difference between the two. What makes us more reactive? And what can we do to be more responsive? How is more automatic and the other has more choice? How one is immediate and the others have space surrounding it.
Lezione 3
Viktor And What Is In And Out Of Our Control
We explore Viktor Frankl's quote and what is in and out of our control to better understand what is responding vs. reacting and how we can focus more on what is in our control than out of our control.
Lezione 4
The Responsive Breathing Space
Here we will be practicing the Responsive Breathing Space which helps us to pause, step back, and be with our experience in a NEW and DIFFERENT way, more aware, anchored, experiential and expansive. We will also reflect on how we can best respond skillfully.
Lezione 5
Summary, Next Steps And Reflections
We end by recalling and reflecting on the past 3 parts and what have we been exploring. This is then followed by the next steps: where do we go from here and we end with some reflective questions about how this all pertains to our life.
