Lezione 1
The Felt Sense of The Body
This contemplation is the foundation of becoming familiar with the felt sense of the body. We often visualize our bodies as individual parts and merge the felt sense with the visual sense. This causes the felt sense to go in the background from where it, unconsciously most of the time, operates in various aspects of our lives. The felt sense of the body is where we experience the body as a flow of sensations.
Lezione 2
Showering the Body with Loving Attention
In this contemplation, we guide our attention – gently and lovingly – through various sensations of our body and acknowledge their presence. Some might be familiar sensations whereas some might be completely new – all are welcome in this loving contemplation!
Lezione 3
Bathing our Body with the Breath
Once we have acknowledged the various sensations of our body, we move on to bathing it with our breath. In this contemplation, we explore the various sensations and pour loving and gentle breath into them. This is where the tightness and stress knots start dissolving and are flushed out by our breath.
Lezione 4
Pouring the Body with Space
In this contemplation, we venture into a (metaphorical) deep tissue massage for the body where we “pour” space into the various sensations of our body. This exercise further advances the dissolving of the various traces of trauma and stress in our body into the adjoining space. We start experiencing deep relaxation at this point.
Lezione 5
Infusing Light Into our Body
Finally, we infuse the light of our awareness into the sensations of the body and make the light-like i.e., invisible but beaming with energy and vibration. As the sensations become transparent, we start feeling ease within ourselves and start connecting with our surroundings and other people with compassion and love!
