This contemplation is about "Being Open" without consideration for "what" we are being open to. This leaves us in a very vulnerable, yet, beautiful state. Becoming intimately familiar with this experience of being 'truly open' is essential! When, due to habit, we end up becoming close again, this familiar feeling of expansion, and spaciousness will overshadow the closedness and create room for openness. Openness in the body, in thinking, and in feeling - these put us in the way of serendipity!

Let's close our eyes.

Let's sit very openly.

Let's relax.

Relaxed in our posture.

Open in our thinking.

Open in our feeling.

Let's relax.

Let's relax.

It is a good idea to understand.

How we feel,

How it feels to be open.

Become so intimately familiar.

With this beautiful experience.

Being open is important.

Being open to what doesn't matter.

Normally,

We are looking for something.

So we are open to it.

If we are in a training,

In a seminar,

That we have signed up for.

Then we are open.

But only to that thing.

If someone says anything else,

We may not be open to that.

Let's relax.

Let's relax.

To the beauty of being intimately familiar with this experience of being open.

Or rather,

Just being open.

It's a very unique experience.

It's an open-ended openness.

It starts with a relaxed posture.

Because that is the first gate of openness.

If we are tensed up,

It's just very hard to be open.

If we grow up and become older.

We have made up our minds about most of the things in our life.

Politics,

Religion,

Ourselves,

Our family members.

Job.

Money.

Etc.

Any change.

Any forced change that nature brings out.

Is always very painful as we become older.

We are lucky to have that.

We are lucky to have that.

We are lucky to have that.

So right now we are bypassing nature and trying to be open voluntarily.

In this openness,

Everything we think we know may or may not be true.

And we are okay with it.

That is what true openness looks like.

It's like asking a question and being open to any answer that comes out.

Not the one that you are looking for.

Not the one that you want to hear.

But any answer.

It might feel very vulnerable.

To be this open.

That is why we are doing it in a safe space right now.

Thank you.

If you have tensed up again in your body.

And consciously relax ourselves again.

The beauty of this openness.

Is although you are open to whatever comes our way.

There is no negotiation required.

You don't have to change anything.

You don't have to give up something.

You don't have to fear change.

Or loss of identity.

Of what we hold dear.

You don't have to fear change.

Many times nature sends us things.

Messages.

Intuition.

Serendipity.

In different ways.

Through quotes.

Through people we like.

People we admire.

Look up to.

Or people we don't like.

The difference between messages sent through people we look up to.

And all other scenarios.

Is that we are open to them.

Our heart is open.

To what they are going to say.

And if they see.

The right words.

There is a potential it could touch our heart.

And be accepted instantly.

In most other situations.

There is negotiation,

Justification,

Rationalization,

Questioning,

Refuting,

Verifying,

Dismissing,

Ignoring or even being indifferent.

So that's why there is no fear of loss of identity.

And being truly open.

Because it is given.

That if something touches our heart.

The heart will do what's supposed to be done.

Our only job.

Is to facilitate being open.

To remove the cobwebs.

Thick,

Dense growth.

Shielding our heart.

Thank you.

Thank you.

Thank you.

Coming back to what I said in the beginning.

That it is very important to become intimately familiar with this experience of being truly open.

Reason being.

Every time we become closed.

It will hurt.

It will hurt in a very subtle way.

Because now we know what truly open feels like.

How expansive.

How liberating.

How happy it feels.

Any attempt.

Any conscious or unconscious attempt.

To displace that.

Will register in our minds.

So if we can get past this.

Discomfort.

The initial teething pain of discomfort.

Of being open.

Due to our fears.

And concerns.

Then we can verify.

For ourselves.

How.

Expansive it feels.

Relaxed it feels.

To be open.

To not be bound by our opinions.

That we have accidentally stumbled upon decades ago.

But to be open to life.

The freshness of life.

Every moment.

Thank you.

Thank you.
