Lezione 1
Beginning with Curiosity and an Open Mind
Firstly we are exploring key questions which may prompt you to be open and receptive to creating new ways of thinking that can motivate you to do things a little differently. Many of us find it very challenging to commit and to be consistent with any sort of discipline. Don't be put off if you have tried to be consistent when implementing new ways in the past and found it impossible to stick to the plan. The simple solution is to 'Begin Again'. Set your intention to complete these five sessions and see what happens.
The meditation in this session will assist you to form the foundation on which to build your motivation and to be successful in this endeavor.
Lezione 2
Unlearning Old Habits
"How do habits gain the power to rule over human behavior?"
We will ask this question. Look at ways to confidently put behind all past experiences and habits that no longer serve you and begin again with a clear and positive mental attitude. We will also touch on two of the most common challenges that we have to manage in life, fear and anxiety.
In the meditation I will guide you through a relaxation practice and explain why this practice is at the foundation of our well being, and everything else that we want to succeed in.
Lezione 3
Be Confident
In this session, we will explore ways to create a firm foundation on which to build self-confidence. Ways to sustain your confidence during times of self-doube and/or negative thinking.
I will introduce to you the effective use of affirmations and explain in detail how to use them and how and why they work.
I will take you through a guided meditation which can be revisited at any time you need a little uplifting. Confidence grows as you continue to explore the depths of meditation and affirmation.
The affirmation for future reference, that I am including in this session is:-
"With increasing peace and calm within my body, mind and soul, I am confident in all that I undertake".
Lezione 4
Cultivate the Right Attitude for Success and Finding Faith and Trust in Yourself
In this session, we are looking at what success really is. I will also discuss two necessry ways of looking at how to achieve success. How to cultivate the right attitude for success, and developing trust and faith in yourself. These two aspects are inseparable if one wishes to have success on any level.
We will look at 'attachment' and 'non-attachment' which play a major part in all the yoga teachings and how they play out when it comes to success. Also discussing a key element for success, which is 'concentration'.
Faith and trust is at the very core of this vast subject. This is something that builds over time as you continue to put the effort in and keep on keeping on.
For future reference, the affirmation in this session is:-
"I will go forth in perfect faith in the power of Omnipresent Good to bring me what I need at the time I need it'.
Lezione 5
Summarising and Realizing Your Full Potential
Devoting yourself to developing these new ways of thinking and acting in everyday life, allows for a greater sense of who you are and how you can realize your full potential.
Commitment, unlearning dysfunctional habits and forming positive habits, developing confidence along with having the right attitude toward success and finding faith and trust in yourself, are all fundamental in creating a balanced life and moving into new beginnings, reaching your full potential.
My suggested meditation with this session is a Peace Meditation. I give you the words below, so you can practice it and perhaps remember the words to return to for any future meditation you may practice. These words are given from Paramahansa Yogananda:-
I am in the temple of quietness.
Peace fills my body, peace fills my heart and dwells within my love.
Peace within, peace without, peace everywhere.
Infinite peace surrounds my life and permeates all the moments of my existence.....
Peace unto myself....Peace unto my family....Peace unto my nation....Peace unto my world....Peace unto my cosmos....
