As a younger woman, I also tended towards perfectionism so misunderstood the invitation of mandala. The invitation is to uncover our own inner peace as we regain balance in our relationships with others and our earth community.

This lesson includes simple guidelines for drawing a mandala. In this lesson, the invitation is to cultivate the attitude of self-compassion and if necessary to soften the edges of any tendency to perfectionism.

In this lesson, I give you a breakdown of how colour impacts the emotions in mandala making. Understanding the psychology of colour will help you to understand your own choices and may invite some intentionality as you decide on your colour theme for your mandala work.

The invitation of this mandala is to create your own nature mandala. The intention of this practise is to feel in harmony with nature, to feel part of the whole, and to come home to your inner calm. Beginning by taking a walk in nature and then allowing your eyes to be drawn to natural elements to incorporate into your mandala

As we finish our course together I want to invite you to the practise of mandala work as a gratitude practise.
I give some suggestions here but the real invitation is for you to allow your own gratitude practise to emerge as you deepen your mandala practise. Mandala work is deeply personal.
