Welcome to this full moon meditation.
Living in alignment with the moon's cycle gives you an opportunity to tune into the powerful moon energy and let it guide you.
Every full moon is an opportunity to choose what you are letting go of and leaving behind.
So let's meditate.
Go ahead,
Get comfortable and close your eyes.
I will guide you on this journey.
Just go ahead and take three deep breaths in.
In through the nose and out through the mouth.
Let that air flow all the way down into your belly as it expands on the in-breath and falls back down on the out-breath.
Let go.
Just centering yourself here now.
And then allow the breath,
When you are ready,
To come back and just flow in and out of the nose through this meditation.
Allowing yourself to go further inward with every in-breath.
Let the noise of the world fall away.
Become fully in tune with the rhythm of your own breath.
I'd like you to imagine that you are sat on a beach by the ocean with the moonlight shining right down on you.
For the next minute or so,
Let's really tune in to the powerful energy of this full moon.
Connecting with that light,
That energy.
Let that energy from the moon cleanse away anything that's not serving you in this moment.
Thoughts,
Stress,
Tension.
Just feel that moonlight all the way down through the body.
Relaxing deeper with every out-breath.
Enjoying this sensation of connecting to this energy that's more powerful than yourself.
Let the moon energy guide you here.
Become aware of the ocean,
The waves of the water.
Still with the moonlight shining on you.
Connecting with the rhythm of the ocean,
The waves come into shore.
And then goes back out.
We're going to meditate on the question,
With this full moon,
What am I letting go of?
As you inhale that energy from the full moon,
The guidance here,
Let yourself be guided.
And then exhale with the words,
I release.
Releasing into the water whatever you're letting go of with this full moon.
Let it be transformed into water.
Let it be cleansed away.
Breathing in,
Connecting to the full moon energy.
I let myself be guided here.
I release needing to control this moment.
And then as you exhale,
I release,
Let go.
What is here to be let go of?
What would you like to move forward in your life without?
What would be beneficial to you to let go of?
Would you feel any resistance to let it go?
You can ask yourself,
How is holding onto it serving me?
Letting it go serve you.
Breathing in,
Connecting with the full moon energy.
Feel that light shining down through the body.
Filling your body.
Exhale,
I release.
I let it go.
Breathing in that energy.
Exhale,
I release.
Release whatever you need to release here,
Let it go.
Consider that it's no longer yours to carry.
Let it go.
Let the full moon energy guide you here.
And as you sit there for a moment,
Considering all that you have released,
And cleanse the way into the ocean with the full moon energy.
I'd like you to consider how releasing this today will make a difference in your life.
How will you feel tomorrow when you wake up knowing you've let this go?
Can you imagine?
Will you feel lighter?
More motivated?
More peace within?
Just imagine.
Perhaps there is something that you will be able to do having let this go.
Consider what that is.
Consider what you would do differently now that you've let that go.
Feeling the beam of the light coming down from the moon through your body becoming even brighter now.
Feeling that energy aligning you.
And as you thank the full moon energy this evening for any guidance,
I want you to ask first if there is any word of wisdom here for you to take away with you today that will guide you even further through the next cycle.
Just sit here for a moment and listen and feel what is present as you ask for that word of wisdom.
And as we close this meditation,
Thank the moon energy for the guidance here.
And take a deep breath in sealing this meditation.
And come back and open your eyes.
