Back in 2013 John was a stressed-out news reporter in New York City lacking in purpose and wanting to find more joy and meaning in his life. The best thing happened to him that year, he got fired from my dream job. It turns out that "making a living" was far from living. The day he got fired he walked into a yoga class and while he had been practicing for years, this class just hit him differently. He didn't have anywhere to be after class, no emails to answer, all he had to do was focus on himself and his breath. Seven years and dozens of retreats, workshops and classes around the world later, He realized this is his dharma, his life's work and his true calling. It has been his experience that this is truly some powerful medicine. He is someone passionate about helping people feel better and sharing what he knows and what has helped him and many others. He takes that work seriously without taking himself too seriously. He strives to always meet people where they are.
