Hey friends,
Welcome to this radical self-love meditation.
I want you to take a moment and just make sure you're sitting up nice and straight,
But also making sure that you are relaxed,
Closing your eyes,
Relaxing your face,
Relaxing your jaw and relaxing your shoulders.
Good,
Slowly begin to draw your attention to your breathing.
You don't have to change anything about your breathing just yet,
Just starting to watch the inflow and the outflow of air.
Notice how it'll naturally become just a little bit slower.
You might begin to notice the space at the top of your breath where there's a gentle pause and that same space at the bottom of the breath where there's that second gentle pause and see if you can begin to oscillate between these two sensations,
The top of the breath and the bottom of the breath.
Notice how nourishing it feels to breathe in and how releasing it feels to breathe out.
Allowing the awareness of the breath to anchor the mind in these few moments,
But remember you can always come back to watching your breath at any point during this meditation.
Begin to draw your awareness to your heart.
Going to invite you to keep your awareness here throughout the course of this meditation,
But try not to force yourself into that space.
Allow yourself to just be aware of the center of your chest.
Begin to relax your awareness into your heart center.
And you might begin to notice a unfurling or an opening in this space.
Notice if any feelings of warmth are present.
Sometimes there's some coloration here.
Notice how by just bringing your attention to the center of your chest,
You begin to draw your attention further inward.
The heart center is truly the love center.
It's where some of our greatest emotions live,
Love,
Compassion,
Empathy.
Today I want you to find these things for yourself.
What do you love about yourself?
What's something great that you've done recently?
You really felt in love with life.
What is it you love about you?
If nothing comes to mind,
That's okay.
Just keep placing your attention in the center of your chest.
Keep relaxing into that feeling of self love.
What do you love about your body?
It's all connected to that beautiful heart in the center of your chest.
It all starts there.
Can you fall in love with your body?
If there is a part of your body that's in pain and struggle,
I want you to bring a little of your attention to that place in your body and see if you can connect it to that love that emanates from your heart as if there was a direct line from your heart to this place in your body that needs a little extra,
A little extra love,
A little extra healing.
And just one more moment,
Filling this place in the body,
This place of need,
And now allow this feeling to begin to spread to all the different parts of your body and move from your heart down into your belly and then spread out through your hips and even down into your groin and to your buttocks.
This feeling moved down into your thighs,
Past your knees,
To your shins and even your ankles spread all the way down to the tips of your toes.
That's it.
Bring it back to your heart,
Let it spread up across your chest,
Through your collarbone to your shoulder,
Down to the upper arms,
Touching the biceps,
The triceps,
Coming past the elbow and it moved down to the forearms and even to the wrist and let it move out to all 10 of your fingers.
Feel that love in your hands.
Feel it reverberate back up to your heart,
Down to your legs,
Up to your heart,
Out through your arms.
Good.
Now starting the journey up the spine through the neck,
Connecting this loving energy now all the way up to your brain,
That loving energy from your heart start to flood all the way up into your skull.
Can feel the heart now and forming the brain,
The heart and the brain as it becomes so full of this loving energy,
Allow it to spill out,
Spill over into the room around you,
The space around you can almost feel your body dissolving into the sea of loving energy,
Your heart now gushing over with love,
So much love for yourself,
For your body,
For your connection to this energy,
It's all around you now,
Bathing in it,
I want you to stay in this feeling as long as you like,
There's no rush to leave it and don't get up from your meditation until you feel fully ready,
Soaked in love,
Ready to begin the day.
