Hi my name is Donna and I'm here to welcome you today to a beautiful intention setting using the idea of planting seeds.
So just preparing yourself for this meditation and finding a comfortable position either seated or lying down.
Allow your body to settle naturally with no need to hold or force anything.
Gently close your eyes if that feels safe or soften your gaze and then taking a slow deep breath in through the nose and sighing out the mouth.
And again if that feels comfortable taking a slow deep breath in and out when you're ready.
Let each breath become a little slower,
A little deeper,
A little more nourishing.
With every exhale allow the body to soften,
Your shoulders to drop,
Your jaw to unclench and your forehead to smooth.
There is nothing you need to do right now.
Nowhere to go.
This is your time.
Time to give yourself permission to bring your awareness inward.
Notice the rhythm of your breath,
The gentle rise and fall of your chest or your belly and let it anchor you here in this moment.
Now imagine just beyond where you are a quiet path beginning to appear.
This path is yours.
It feels safe,
Familiar even if you have never seen it before.
When you're ready begin to walk along this path.
Notice what surrounds you.
Perhaps it's early spring.
The air is fresh,
Carrying a hint of warmth after a long winter.
The earth feels alive beneath your feet.
As you walk you may notice soft green shoots pushing through the soil.
Buds forming on branches.
The quiet promise of growth.
Take your time here.
With each step you feel lighter,
More present,
More connected.
Ahead of you you see a bridge.
The bridge is gentle and welcoming.
It may be made of wood or stone or something entirely your own.
It stretches across a calm body of water.
Perhaps a stream,
A river or something still and reflective.
Pause for a moment before stepping onto the bridge.
This bridge represents a transition.
A crossing from one season of your life into another.
Behind you is what has been and ahead of you is what is ready to grow.
When you feel ready step onto the bridge and walk slowly across it.
With each step imagine releasing anything from the past season that you no longer need to carry.
Old worries,
Self-doubts,
Habits that no longer serve you.
Let them gently fall away like leaves drifting into the water below.
You do not need to force anything.
Just allow.
You do not even need to know what these doubts or worries were.
Just know that it's time to move on without them.
And now as you continue to cross the bridge begin to feel a sense of openness,
A readiness,
A quiet excitement for what lies ahead.
When you reach the other side pause again.
Before you is your sacred garden.
This is your space.
Entirely your own.
A place within your mind and spirit where you can return anytime.
Take a moment to step into this garden.
Notice everything about it.
What does it feel like here?
What is the light like?
Is it warm and golden?
Soft and diffused?
Or bright and energising?
What do you see around you?
Perhaps there are trees,
Flowers,
Open soil,
Winding paths or quiet corners.
Notice the sounds.
Maybe birds,
A gentle breeze or silence.
This space reflects you.
It is alive,
Responsive and always evolving.
Take a few moments to simply explore.
Now gently bring your awareness to the garden as a whole.
Scan the space.
Notice which areas feel vibrant and full and which areas feel a little neglected.
Overgrown or in need of care.
There is no judgement here.
Only awareness.
Ask yourself gently,
What part of me is calling for attention today?
You don't need to think too hard.
Just notice what naturally draws your focus.
Perhaps a certain patch of the garden stands out.
And begin to walk to that area.
As you approach take a closer look.
What does this space represent within you?
Could it be your emotional wellbeing?
Your creativity?
Your relationships?
Your confidence?
Your rest?
Your purpose?
Whatever it is,
Trust that it has appeared for a reason.
Now imagine yourself kneeling or sitting beside this patch of earth.
Perhaps starting with weeding.
Gently notice what might be grown here that no longer needs to belong.
There could be limiting beliefs,
Negative self-talk,
Fears or patterns that have taken root.
Without resistance begin to pull these weeds from the soil.
And as you do imagine loosening them easily.
You do not need to struggle.
With each weed you remove,
Say silently or softly,
I release what no longer serves me.
Continue at your own pace.
Clearing.
Making space.
Allowing the soil to breathe again.
The space now perhaps contains a lightness.
A feeling of nourishment.
And imagine reaching for something to fertilize the earth.
Perhaps compost.
Rich soil.
Or something symbolic.
A golden light.
Warmth.
Or even your own kindness.
As you spread this nourishment into the soil,
Imagine it infusing the ground with support,
Care and possibility.
You can say to yourself,
I prepare this space with care.
I am worthy of growth.
Take your time here.
Feel the soil becoming richer.
Softer.
More alive beneath your touch.
Now it is time to plant.
In your hands imagine a small collection of seeds.
Each seed represents something you wish to grow in this new season.
Take a moment to notice what these seeds are.
Perhaps they are seeds of confidence.
Peace.
Creativity.
Abundance.
Love.
Clarity or courage.
You may have one seed.
Or many.
Choose one to begin with.
Hold it gently.
Feel its potential.
This small seed contains everything it needs to grow,
Given the right conditions.
Just like you.
Now plant the seed into the soil.
Cover it gently.
And as you do,
Set an intention.
You might say,
I plant the seed of confidence.
I plant the seed of calm.
I plant the seed of abundance.
Choose the words that feel true for you.
Now plant any other seeds you wish.
One by one.
With care and attention.
There is no rush.
Once your seeds are planted,
It's time to water them.
Imagine a watering can in your hands.
But this water is special.
It is made of your words,
Your thoughts and your energy.
And as you water the soil,
Speak words that nourish growth.
I am supported.
I am capable.
I am open to abundance.
I trust the process of my life.
Let each word flow like water into the soil.
Take your time to water thoroughly.
And now pause.
Sit back and observe.
You may begin to sense subtle changes.
Perhaps the soil feels warmer.
More alive.
Perhaps you can almost feel the seeds responding,
Even if they have not sprouted.
Trust that growth is happening,
Even beneath the surface.
Not all growth is immediately visible.
Now take a moment to place your hands gently over this patch of garden.
Send gratitude and thank yourself for showing up.
Thank the process of growth,
Even when it is slow.
Know that you can return here at any time.
This is your sacred space.
A place of renewal,
Reflection and creation.
Now when you're ready,
Gently begin to step back from this area of the garden.
Take one last look,
Knowing that it is cared for.
Begin to walk backward towards the entrance of your garden.
Move slowly,
Taking in the beauty around you once more.
As you leave the garden,
You may notice the bridge again.
Step onto it,
Carrying with you the energy that you have planted.
As you cross over the bridge,
Feel this energy integrating into your body,
Your mind,
Your life.
You are not leaving it behind.
You are bringing it with you,
With each step.
As you get to the other side of the bridge,
The path reappears beneath your feet.
Follow it gently and begin to bring your awareness back to your breath.
Inhaling deeply and exhaling slowly,
Feel your body once more,
The surface beneath you,
The air around you.
Gently wiggle your fingers and toes,
Taking another deep breath in and out.
And when you're ready,
Slowly open your eyes.
Carry this sense of intention,
Care and possibility into your day.
Your seeds are planted,
Your intentions are set and they are already beginning to grow.
Taking this time to thank yourself for being here.
Go gently and with love.
