Lektion 1
Self-Awareness: Awareness Of The External
This meditation breaks down the first step of living an aware life viz. awareness of the external world including people, situations, things, actions. It also explains the benefits of living an aware life vs. living a life of mechanical habits; each having different implications in life. The former has more clarity, joy, connection, fewer mistakes, and lesser anxiety whereas the latter has all the things we don't want in our lives. This contemplation explores (through personal stories) both these approaches and the importance of a unanimous, non-negotiable decision to live an aware life. Initially, it might feel exhausting and cumbersome to be aware of our actions and surroundings, but soon enough you will realize how fulfilling it gets.
Lektion 2
Self-Awareness: Awareness Of The Internal
This meditation takes us into the second step of living an aware life viz. awareness of the internal world of thoughts, images, and feelings - that which we cannot share with others other than their description! It explains each aspect of the internal experience in detail viz. what is a thought, what is an image, what is a feeling. Through different imagery and analogies, the teacher makes an attempt at explaining the basics of our internal experience and walks us into what it means to be aware of them. We then, move on to being aware of the External and Internal at the same time. This is demonstrated using examples of sports, high-tension jobs, etc. This contemplation explains how we act and relate to the External world based on our Internal experience and how vital it is to be aware of this internal experience!
Lektion 3
Self-Awareness: Awareness Of Yourself
This contemplation is a very experiential rendition and a reminder to become aware of yourself: that which you refer to when you say "I". When all our experience viz. sights, sounds, tastes, textures, smells, bodily sensations, thoughts, and feelings is laid out what remains in the center is "I" - the One to whom this experience is happening. The beauty is that this is the longest and the most unchanging experience we have had in our lives: we have always been "I" when all our experience has changed over the years, this aspect has remained the same. This last contemplation of the course will definitely provide you with insight and deep rest to every part of you!

this was very well presented, packaged into the 3 areas of awareness. I especially enjoyed day 3 and the metaphor of the 8 player tennis team. this will allow me to bring more awareness to my “I”. thank you for sharing your perspective and wisdom 🙏💖
