Welcome to this counting sheep meditation just for you.

Close your eyes and let go of any feelings you don't need.

It's the end of a long day and it's time to settle down now.

Now we're going to snuggle down in our duvets and imagine that our bed is a basket of a hot air balloon.

We start to feel the hot air balloon begin to float away into the sky.

And we're going to float away into the clouds.

And they're all the colours of the rainbow.

Red,

Orange,

Yellow,

Green,

Blue,

Indigo and violet.

And all the other colours in the world.

Soft,

Comfortable colours.

And as you float in the sky you look down and far below you,

You see a sheep in an empty field.

And you wonder what that little sheep is doing.

So you decide to go down and see.

All the way down.

The little sheep is counting sleep.

And you float down through the clouds and the clouds smelling wonderful.

The pink like cotton candy.

The red like strawberries.

And much more.

And as you float down you feel a cool breeze.

Relaxing you as you float slowly,

Gently down to land.

And when you land it feels like landing on the softest cotton you've ever felt.

And you know that you are safe.

Sleep.

And when you look over to look what the sheep is doing you find that where there was a sheep there is a unicorn.

You approach the unicorn and feel the magic like the softest silk.

And the unicorn tells you in the most wonderful sweet voice that she is finding sheep and helping them to get to their home field to snuggle together and sleep.

All the little sheep are counting sleep.

The unicorn now quietly says but now I must give you my blessing.

And gradually you see a light begin to emerge from the tip of the unicorn's horn and soon she becomes a big golden ball of light.

And a ray of light comes towards you into your chest and you feel peace.

And you feel happy.

You feel like dreams.

And you thank the unicorn for her blessing.

Dreams of peace and restful sleep.

And the unicorn invites you to walk with her and she takes you to her field of sheep.

And when you get there you find that all the sheep are sleeping soundly.

Gentle and soft and safe.

And the unicorn invites you to lie down on the comfy fluffy soft grass.

And together you begin to count sheep.

And as you count you notice your breathing.

Breathing in and out.

Two.

Notice how deeply and easily you can breathe now.

Three.

Four.
