Here's a few minutes to reconnect with truth from a three principles perspective.
And today I'm here to tell you that you are not broken.
Now we live in a world right now that seems to tell us that we are broken.
The judgment from out there and the self-judgment is huge,
Isn't it?
And we're really seeing a lot of the impact of that in the world that we live in.
The impact of that for me was endless rounds of self-development.
And when I say rounds,
I mean on a daily basis,
On a weekly basis,
On a monthly basis,
Everything from the miracle morning,
Spent a lot of time doing that,
To counseling,
To therapy,
To an awful lot of things where I was encouraged to poke around in the past and look at that.
And it was all underpinned by this idea that I was broken and that I needed fixing.
And all the work I was doing was really about that.
It was about fixing myself.
And it came from a place of believing some thoughts.
Some thoughts from,
I guess,
My inner critic,
Although I probably wouldn't have called it that at the time.
And those thoughts were linked to my worth and the connection there was that my worth was about doing enough.
And that meant that if I didn't do enough,
That word is very much an inverted commas,
By the way,
If I didn't do enough,
That I was flawed in some way.
That I was broken,
That I should be able to get up every day and do a ridiculous amount of things,
I thought.
And if I didn't do that,
That meant I was,
I mean,
Lazy was one of the things I heard in my head.
You're lazy.
You don't do enough.
What's wrong with you?
How dare,
Like literally almost,
How dare you rest?
That's what that voice was like.
I think that's the,
You're supposed to be a superwoman voice that many women have in their these days.
But that's all thought.
I can't say this enough times.
It's not truth.
Honestly,
Your thoughts are not true.
That's a huge thing to see.
It was for me anyway.
And what I'm inviting you to see that even if you're caught up in self-doubt,
You think you're flawed,
You think there's something wrong with you,
You think you're broken,
That isn't what's true.
That's what you're believing.
Can you hear the difference between something that's true and something that's just being believed in a moment?
Now,
When we start to see this,
We can begin to move towards a place of trusting ourselves more,
Not from a place of fixing ourselves,
But from a place of seeing that we are not our thinking.
That's not the truth of us.
And we don't have anything to prove by these attempts that we make to fix ourselves.
Truly,
It's in the good feeling,
The presence,
The being.
I guarantee that when you have these awful thoughts about yourself,
That it does not feel good.
If you believe you're broken,
That does not feel good.
That's your guidance system letting you know that those thoughts are not true.
They're a lie.
A big fat lie.
And we feel that in our body.
We feel the thoughts that we're believing that are not true.
We feel those in our bodies.
Listen to your body.
It's always guiding you.
It really is.
I hope that's helpful.
I want you to remember that you're whole,
And that when you just take a breath and ground yourself into the present moment,
I hope you can see that a little more brightly right now.
Take care,
Lots of love,
And please do stay in this Three Principles conversation.
It really is life-changing.
Thank you so much for being here.
