Itzel Hayward is a yoga, meditation, and communication teacher who supports individuals and communities in working and relating with greater clarity, care, and connection. With a background in mindfulness, compassionate communication, yoga, and other somatic practices, Itzel creates environments where people can show up authentically, honor their inner experience, and engage with one another in ways that foster trust and genuine presence.

Introductory Lesson: Welcome To Healing For The Holidays

This introductory lesson lays out the foundations of the course and the approach behind it. You’ll learn how the four core practices of this journey—grounding the nervous system, offering yourself compassion, cultivating inner clarity, and reconnecting with joy—work together as a restorative cycle to support you through the holiday season. You’ll also be guided through how each session is structured, including how the teaching and guided practice in each lesson help you settle, soften, and meet the season with greater steadiness and presence.

Managing Stress

This lesson includes a soothing, body-based practice to help regulate the nervous system and release holiday stress. You’ll practice simple breath and awareness techniques to ground yourself when emotions or environments feel overwhelming.

Practicing Self-Compassion

This session guides you through a practice of offering yourself love and compassion — remembering that you are already enough, just as you are. Through guided reflection and simple phrases of care, you’ll reconnect with your inherent worthiness and allow compassion to flow inward.

Setting Boundaries With Love

This lesson explores boundaries as an expression of dignity, clarity, and care for yourself and your relationships. Through guided awareness, you’ll practice recognizing and honoring both your genuine Yes and true No, making space for choices rooted in truth and authenticity.

I really loved this Itzel. It comes at a time where I really am doing a peculiar balancing act, both having learned these past eight years to finally allow myself time to live from my authentic nature, and dealing with someone who would be happier if I gave that time back to them haha. So, this was like a little staycation for the heart, and yes, especially since it is holiday season. I enjoyed your pacing, your soothing voice and the way you allow silence to just be there.
