Welcome to this mindfulness meditation to slow down and embrace the moment.
Find a comfortable position,
Seated or lying down.
Rest your palms,
Softly close your eyes,
Allow your body to relax,
Bring your awareness to your breath,
Being aware of the natural rhythm of your inhalation and exhalation,
Noticing the sensation of each breath,
The length of your inhalation and your exhalation a bit,
So that you can keep on breathing effortlessly but also your breath is a little longer than your natural rhythm with each exhalation.
You are slowing down your mind,
Calming down your body,
Cultivating a sense of awareness by relaxing your head,
Your face,
Neck and shoulders,
Relaxing your hands,
Your upper body,
Your lower body,
Your feet and toes,
Cultivating a sense of presence as you breathe naturally,
Bring your awareness fully into the present moment,
Welcoming the energy of love,
Joy,
Happiness into this moment,
Into your mind,
Into your being,
Embracing this moment with joy,
Letting go of your stress and anxiety about the future,
Letting go of your worries about the past,
Feel the nourishment of just being here,
Every breath you are breathing is filling you with the presence of life,
With the presence of love,
Joy and happiness,
Feeling grateful for your life,
Feeling grateful for this moment,
All the power you need is within you when you live life here,
Embracing the present moment one moment at a time.
