This gentle EFT tapping session is designed to support anyone who feels afraid of being abandoned, rejected, or having things and people taken away as they have in the past. Together, we’ll acknowledge the fear honestly, soothe your nervous system, and offer comfort to the part of you that’s bracing for loss. We’ll tap through the points while validating your experience, thanking your body and mind for trying to protect you, and slowly opening to a new possibility: that you can be worthy of love, support, and stability, even if you’ve been let down before. This session is ideal when you notice old wounds being triggered in relationships, you’re scared something good won’t last, or you feel that familiar panic of “they’re going to leave.” You’ll be guided step by step, with simple phrases you can repeat or adapt, so you can return to this practice whenever you need reassurance and grounding. I'm so sorry you're feeling this way.

This fear of abandonment and loss can feel really big and heavy,

Especially when it's been true in the past.

We're going to gently acknowledge how you feel and offer some comfort to the part of you that's scared things will be taken away from you.

You can begin to tap along with me or just listen to the words.

If any words don't feel right,

Feel free to change them to fit what's true for you.

We'll begin by tapping the side of the hand,

The little finger sign.

Even though a part of me is afraid of being abandoned and left behind,

I accept how I'm feeling.

Even though a part of me is afraid of being abandoned,

I accept how I'm feeling.

Even though a part of me is afraid of being abandoned,

I accept how I'm feeling.

Then tap to the inside of the eyebrow,

This fear of being abandoned,

The side of the eye,

This fear that people might leave me.

Under the eye,

It's happened before.

Under the nose,

This feeling of abandonment.

Under the neck,

The chin area,

It feels so real.

The chest,

This fear of being left.

Under the arm,

This fear.

Top of the head,

This fear.

Take a deep breath in.

Inside of the eyebrow again.

I've been hurt before.

Side of the eye,

No wonder my system is on high alert.

My nervous system is trying to protect me.

Under the nose,

Thank you for trying to keep me safe.

Under the lip,

This fear that I'm feeling.

The chest,

Feeling this fear.

Under the arm,

Right now,

In this moment,

I'm safe.

Top of the head,

I am here.

Take another deep breath in.

Inside of the eyebrow when you're ready.

A part of me wants this feeling to go away.

Another part of me wants to feel safe and held.

Maybe it's possible to be loved.

Maybe I can trust life.

A little bit more today.

The chin,

I am worthy of love.

I am worthy of support.

I am not alone in this moment.

Top of the head,

I am safe.

Lace a hand at your heart center.

Take a deep breath in.

Knowing I am here with you,

You are safe.

You are enough.
