Find a comfortable position,

Whether that's sitting or lying.

Allow your body to settle.

Find a place where you feel supported,

By the chair or the floor or a bed.

Allow your eyes to close down and take a breath in and out.

In and out.

And continue this deep breathing.

And with each breath out,

Releasing any tension,

Any tightness you might be holding onto.

And with each breath in,

Filling your lungs completely.

Filling the expansion of your chest.

The release and fall as you breathe out.

Breathing in calm and out,

Letting go of any worries.

Breathing in calm and out,

Releasing any stress.

Allow your breath to guide you into a profound state of relaxation.

Now begin a gentle scan of the body.

Starting at the top of the head,

Noticing any sensations here,

Any tension,

Any discomfort.

And take a breath in and away.

As you relax down through your face,

Your neck and shoulders.

Softening the arms,

Hands.

Relaxing completely.

Scanning down through your chest,

Abdomen.

Softening any muscles that may be holding onto stress.

Legs heavy and more relaxed with every exhale.

Awareness dying to your feet.

Allowing them to sink into a state of calmness and ease.

And as you remain in this peaceful state,

Allow these affirmations to resonate within you.
