Find a comfortable position whether you're sitting or lying down and gently close your eyes or lower your gaze.
Take a few deep breaths in and slowly exhale in your own time and in your own way.
Allow yourself to become fully present in this moment.
There's nothing to do,
Nowhere to be,
No expectations.
Just you allowing yourself these few precious moments.
As you settle in,
Begin to focus on your breath.
Notice the natural rhythm of your inhale and exhale.
With each in-breath,
Draw in a sense of calm and peace.
As you exhale,
Release any tension or stress or anxiety you may be carrying.
Bring your awareness to your body.
Feel the sensation of your body resting against the surface beneath you.
Start from the top of your head and slowly scan down through your body,
Noticing any areas of tension.
As you identify the areas,
Imagine sending your breath to them.
Gently releasing and softening any tightness.
Now shift your attention to the sounds around you.
Allow yourself to simply listen without judgment or attachment.
Notice the sounds of nature,
The hum of everyday life or even the silence.
Let these sounds be a part of your reflection,
Grounding you in the present moment.
As you continue to breathe deeply and evenly,
Bring to mind a place where you feel completely at peace.
This could be a real location like a beach or a forest or an imagined sanctuary.
Visualize yourself in this place,
Taking in the sights,
Sounds and sensations.
Allow yourself to fully experience the tranquility and the safety of this place.
In this space,
Let go of any worries or thoughts that might be weighing on you.
If thoughts arise,
Acknowledge them without judgment and gently let them go,
Returning your focus to your breath and your peaceful face.
Now reflect on this truth.
You are always okay.
No matter what,
Deep within you there is a sense of okay-ness.
There is a well of being that is constant and unwavering.
This sense of being okay is always available to you.
You have the power to recognize it in any given moment.
Trust the universal intelligence behind life,
Knowing that you are okay.
Trust the universal intelligence behind life,
Knowing that you can rely on it to guide you and support you through any challenge.
Because you are the universal intelligence of life.
Spend a few moments in silence,
Embracing the stillness and the sense of peace that comes with this understanding.
Know that in this quiet space that you have created,
You are safe,
Whole and complete.
As we approach the end of this reflection,
Slowly bring your awareness back to your surroundings.
Notice the surface beneath you once again and gently wriggle your fingers and toes.
Feel the air on your face and take a deep breath in.
As you exhale,
Open your eyes and carry this sense of peace and grounding with you into the rest of your day.
